I texted a few times manager before arrival but got no response until I was travelling with no access to wifi By then it was too late and it took us a long time in the heat to find property and then we had to park our car a fair distance away and carry our luggage all the way up the hills to our property Dirty floors in both rooms Texted Lucy and she came and mopped But I really should not find a dirty floor in the first place Rooms needed to be aired out before our arrival as they smelled mouldy Very difficult to find and parking was too far from room

Great quiet location Air con Breakfast included at local cafe was incredibly generous and staff were exceptional Lucy was great. She helped us to get to property and with parking. She was great with our requests for floors to be mopped and to bring up more toilet paper

We left to breakfast a little later (approx 10:15) to the bar in the city centre where they serve them and there was basically nothing left to eat. Please make sure to get up early.

Price rather high. The breakfast in the bar on main square do not match the price of the room... Just coffee and croissant (not fresh). Pity.

The lights had some sort of movement sensor which not only turned them on during the night, wouldn't turn off. Awful first night then took out the bulbs to be able to sleep for the second.

Lucy was fantastic and met us to show us where to park and took us to the room. Great location, lovely room and nice little balcony over looking some roofs. The parking wasn't too far away.

The stairway was steep and a bit of a challenge for luggage. We managed, but it might be difficult for older folks.

The location was perfect for exploring Montalcino and was just a couple of streets away from many dining options. Lucy greeted us and helped us find the parking lot. Our room had a little balcony with an amazing view. We’re not big breakfast eaters, but a nice continental spread was available.

Parking very hard to find but Lucy was quite helpful with that. She did a great job. We couldn’t fined the coffee pod packets. We thought they were some kind of snack bar. Just unfamiliar with that style. We figured it out.

Breakfast had a nice variety. Shower was amazing. Right in town so walking distance to the fortress and shopping/ eating.

The host was so kind and helpful. The location was perfectly tucked away on a quiet street. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. It was easy to walk to the main square from La Fenice. We will stay here again. Grazie Mille

Clean, nothing special, has coffee onsite; would be great if the host offered water on arrival at least, as the town is quite small and not a lot of stores

The front door lock was really tricky/stiff to open, causing a late evening panic until a passing neighbour showed us the knack, involving one person heaving on the door and another turning the key with all their might. Guests who arrived the next day were equally baffled until we showed them the knack. Not ideal for a holiday property where there is no one on duty to help guests.

Buffet breakfast was set out by 7.30 am and there for self-service until 9.30 which suited us fine. Our room, 'Circe,' was comfortable and quiet in a very old house in a tiny alley off a narrow street high up in this beautiful historic hilltop town where cars have to be parked at lower level just outside the city wall but the lovely property manager walked with me to where we had paid to park the car and guided me to a well-hidden free car park only 5 minutes from the property. Street maps are incomplete, not showing the tiny roads and even tinier side roads, and it was very hard to find the property, hauling our luggage, but we succeeded eventually, discovering that we had to phone the manager's number (and deal with a voice mail in Italian) because no one was there to let us in. However, it was a great stay in a lovely place, once we found it and got inside!
