How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Let's start: 1. The only payment method is bank transfer... (it's 2025 hallo?) 2. Communication wise the person managing the suit is really unfriendly and impolite. The lady that guided us in was more polite. 3. Somehow the room is connected through a hallway to other rooms via a door on the side. This caused that doors kept on being slammed left and right and that from 3am thill 6am in the morning.... What is sleep? 4. Walls are made out of papirus paper. I could hear at least 2 couples speaking from above us and behind us and hear their convos clearly... Imagine if couples get heated up..😮💨 5. The shower was a cabine not a bad thing tbh I love those, BUT if they work... No lights no ventilation. It was literally a dark sauna. Some might like it, but it was not for us. 6. No thermos, probably the only place that we had from all our trips including this one. We bring our own tea as also medicine that requires hot water yet is the only one that didn't have it... All in all this place is only good if you are coming for 1 night literally just 1 night.
She paid 32.50 for person and also claims to have the kettle ? .... not written that is it included, then ? ... Then you hear it for WhatsApp only for the arrival hours remembering to her that it is by 14:30 and says that I was rude ? Ther's evidence of what i say ... Thin walls ? ... He didn't book a 3/4 stars hotel, otherwise he had to pay a minimum 100,00 euros for person for hotel 3 stars ... instead he booked from us to 32,50 for person ... the shower is just a shower, so what's he talking about ? It would be the case to stay at home and not travel ... good life

Verified reviewThe room was squeaky clean when we checked-in and was then cleaned everyday, including bringing each day fresh towels. The location is superb as well: you will reach the old town in approx 10min by feet and the location itself is super close to the new town shopping zone.

Cleaness. Bathroom outside the room

Verified reviewThe position was really good close to the centre. The bed was comfy and clean, and the room was clean.
There was no fridge in the room, although there was a space to put it. There was now self check-in, so we had to cancel some of my plans to arrive on time, but they waited for us. The girl that did the check-in for us entered the room, and she moved our stuff from the chair to sit to write the contract, and there was no office or desk outside to do that matter. The bathroom was outside of the room. The lights in the bathroom were really bad and dark.
But how dare you say that to check in you had to move some appointments ... but which appointments could you have had as a guest of your mother-in-law and you continually asked me to move the check in .... Check in is no later than 14:30 and it's perfectly written on the Booking.com page ! ... we met you until 17:30 and you say this ??? ... We should have closed it at 14:30 !! ... On the Booking.com page it is perfectly written that there is no fridge and I don't have to have to put it ! among the many things .... If the employee moved something to write the registration sheet, is this a problem ??? .... It's good for you to stay at home and not travel .... I wish you a good life ! Hopefully !
