Friendly service in a charming location

Beautiful view, nice breakfast, very isolated and relaxing, great for couples, lovely host!

Bit far out from town, about an hour walk each way. There is a bus during the summer between 7PM-12AM which was handy for dinners in town.

Absolutely loved our time at isoladelsole. The hostess was super welcoming and helpful. On arrival after a long journey she helped us settle in and showed us the amazing view from our room. While the only downside could be it can be a tough walk up during the day it makes up for it in its beautiful location, friendly family and friendly animals !! We loved the greeting from little Tommy the dog and the cats each morning. The breakfast spread was perfect and the walk down to Varenna only took around 30 mins. On the way up it could be up to 50 mins however a nightbus after 7pm for tourists takes you straight to the doorstep. Would recommend this B&B for anyone staying in lake Como for a way to stay out of the crowd with beautiful views and a beautiful home.

Bit of a walk to the main town but beautiful views and taxis are available during the day which the hostess kindly provided and a free nightbus from the train station is available after 7pm until midnight !!

Wonderful accommodation and very helpful host.

Elena is lovely and the place is so peaceful. Love the company of all the cats and her dog Tommy.

Access is not so easy with windy roads

It’s a cute b&b in Lake Como, very authentic. The host Elena is very kind and helpful! She gave us a lot of suggestions of things to do in the area and let us know about buses replacing trains for while we were there. The room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed using the terrace.

It’s quite far from Varenna if you do not have a car. It’s not an easy walk into town and takes awhile and there are no public transport options. There is only a free night bus from 7pm. Highly recommend this place if you do have a car though, will be much easy for getting around.

Our lovely host Elena couldn't help us enough. She was brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much to ask she was fantastic. The lovely b&b is nestled in the hills of a small Perledo village name Gittana. It is lovely and has a real local feel without the bustle of tourists. It is a short walk from one of the best kept secret beaches on lake como: riva di gittana. We will be staying again

Couldn't fault our experience we absolutely loved it

Very friendly and helpful host. Quiet and beautiful location. Excellent breakfast. Clean and tidy. Even if high up and away from Varenna, we had no trouble even without a car, thanks to Elena ( host), night shuttle and taxi. Many fine walks, and Elena will help you guiding. We enjoyed our time here.

All was good, but without a car you need some planning and be prepared to do some walking - which is nice.

This b&b is fantastic with excellent views of the lake. The host was amazing - very accomodating and quick to respond to requests / messages. The property is basic but very clean and it's location above varenna is great. Easy to get to ( up hill but roads are all paved). Would stay again definitely.

Small personal preferces for me: the pillow I had was very hard and uncomfortable in the night. Would have been great to have the option of a second pillow, or a spare in the wardrobe. Breakfast was basic, personally would have liked to have seen a few more options, although it was sufficient.

Just that is was far away from the main city (Varenna). A very long walk and super steep.

The view from our room was amazing!! The host was helpful and veery friendly. We loved the pets. The parking outside was also a plus. We liked the surroundings.

It was difficult to sleep because of a church bell that rings every hour. Not having a private bathroom was also inconvenient. Whenever someone was entering the bathroom it was very loud :(

Amazing location, especially if you don’t mind living in a rural, remote village. Really helpful to have a car, though. Absolutely stunning view from the room. Elena the host was really nice, kind and fourth-coming. The animals at the BnB were a cute addition, shout out to Tommy the best dog. If staying, I would recommend visiting Semi di grano (restaurant 50 meters from the house) and Casa Giacomina Enoteca (super cozy wine bar 60 meters from the house).

A quiet, clean and intimate accomodation with a stunning view of the lake. If you have a car, it’s a really good place to stay. The host is helpful, kind and prompt. Moreover, there is a path from where you can reach by foot to a small lake side beach in 10-15 minutes.

Great accommodation, very clean, nice owners, quiet place, excellent for wandering around the surrounding hills and villages. From the train, you can walk to the place from Varenna or from the other side from Bellano, but it is uphill, we traveled with backpacks and it took us less than hour. Highly recommendable to stay at Elena´s house.

Perfect little village up from Verenna. Elena was friendly and we had nice room with little balcony. And what a wiev! In neighbour was amazing restaurant: Semi di grano. Best food and best service in Como-area. We walked by nice little path from Gittana to Castello di Vezio and to Verenna. Thank you Elena, we had perfect visit in your place!

Wonderful view from the height above Varenna. It's perfectly fine to walk down, but walking up is a bit more strenuous 😊 Clean and tidy! Simple but good breakfast. Excellent service! Highly recommended.

Very close to Varenna and Bellagio, excellent price/quality rate

Perledo is on top of a mountain road which you need to drive through every time you want to move around. Having said that, there is a free bus which goes to Varenna and comes back.
