How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We loved everything about B&B Il Sasso Antico, from the communication with the owner, an incredibly kind person, to the room, breakfast and the possibility to park our two motorbikes in the garage. Our room featured two single beds, towels, shower gel, plenty of storage space and space in general. It was very tidy, clean, cozy, well maintained and comfortable. This accommodation also comes with a very good breakfast which includes tea, coffee, water, juice, bread, croissants, yogurt, different fruity jams and so on.

The host was so lovely and while language was a barrier, he still managed to make us feel welcome. The room was very clean and large. Breakfast was nice as well. While the accommodation was a bit further away from the centre we had a couple of bus stations nearby.

Breakfasts have less choice and the apartment is bit further from the center (cca 1h on foot).
Very kind host, who is always trying to help you. The apartment was clean and big enough. No problem with parking at all. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

B&B and my room was spotless very comfortable bed . I suffer from low back pain and did not have any symptoms after sleeping in my room . Host was incredibly helpful. I recommend this facility .

Luciano was extremely friendly and helpful! I felt very welcome here. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and spacious. It’s located near a bus station from where you can get to the city center. The breakfast got everything I needed

Very specious, comfortable and clean room. Very friendly and interesting host. The appartmentbis easily accessible by public transport and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Verona.

The location isn't in the centre of Verona but if you download the Verona transport app to make using the bus easier, as it maps out the best route and times for you. You are in the centre within 10 mins. A 24 hour pass cost €5. The bed was a little firm for my taste but that's just personal preference, was able to sleep fine.
More like a hotel than a B and B! Big spacious rooms and bathrooms, the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Also has proper AC units in the rooms, that work brilliantly. As previously stated the owner speaks no English but it honestly doesn't matter, he was so kind and gracious. Breakfast is a standard/adequate continental mix. I didn't mind the location as it was quiet and made a change to the very busy centre.

The location is around 25 minutes from the city centre and the buses are fairly regular but if you want to have a short walk to a restaurant or bar there aren’t many around.
The hotel owner was lovely and friendly, he tried very hard to speak English and with my poor Italian we managed to communicate. It’s got a personal touch as the owner is present and wants to make it nice for all. Check in was smooth. Breakfast is breads, cheese, pastries etc.

Though the residential area is very quiet and charming it is very far (30 min bus ride with all the traffic etc) from the Old City where all of Verona's main attractions are. The buses were not always on time. If you have a car or have plenty of time on your hands however, this is not a problem.
A wonderful and completely professional host runs this spotlessly clean and comfortable guesthouse. Highly recommend for a longer stay.

We loved our stay! Nothing to complain about! Our host was very accommodating, kind, welcoming and very friendly! The rims are very comfortable and the furnishings are nice and updated! Great location and on a quiet street.

Amazing experience, the room was specious and clean. It had everything that's needed. We only spend a weekend but I would highly recommend it for longer stays as well, as the room was equipped with a kitchen and all cutleries and utensils needed. Only 10 min away from the centre by car, free parking, quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was delicious. The host was super nice and helpful. Worth it!!

All superb!
Super friendly host, super forthcoming and very clean and cosy accommodation. Breakfast was great - including vegan options. Would definitely recommend when going to Verona. Buy the verona card, it includes the bus ticket to get to the B&B :)
