Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Statesthe location was excelent with a great view of the Temples -- That owner and staff were wonderful -- it is an older building that has completely renovated and all the bedrooms have their own private bath -- I would definately reccomend this Bed & Breakfast hotel especially for the price

United KingdomIt was unfortunate that there were roadworks right outside our bedroom during our stay - nothing to do with the property however; the property had nothing to dislike.
The property was extremely well located to walk to both the temples - which could be seen from our bedroom balcony - and the archaeological museum. The hosts Vittoria and Giuseppe were very welcoming and gave us great tips about where to eat; Erica was helpful re buses and spot on with breakfast service. There were bus stops five mins from the B&b - one direction to the beach (c20 mins) and the other side of the road to central Agrigento. NB this latter IS walkable but not something I fancied in the heat of the day! There were great eating options right by the B&b.

United StatesMore hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Hooks near the door to hang jackets, purse, bags, umbrellas, etc..
The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to unpack for a four night stay. We enjoyed very quiet nights. Breakfast provided was sufficient to start the day. We requested items that were gladly provided, so we had a variety each morning. The staff was pleasant each morning. Plenty of free street parking within a three minute walk. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. One of the many highlights was sitting on the balcony with wine and snacks looking at the temple glowing from the lights after a beautiful sunset. Unforgettable moment we will remember for a long time. Additionally, watching the calamity of driver decisions at the circle, triangle, intersection below the balcony. The honking of horns and revving of motors calmed down after 21:00.

New ZealandLocation was perfect to reach the Valley of the Temples. Parking was a little tricky, but the host met us at check in and helped with where to park. The breakfast selection was good and we could help ourselves to waters from the kitchen fridge. The property is located at a busy intersection, but the room was well insulated and there was no noise at night. Perfect for a 2 night stay to explore the Temples and nearby San Leone.

BelgiumThe entrance is dark and not so nice. But once you're in the flat it's better. The neighbouring B&Bs are far less welcoming. Make sure you choose the right bell / phone number.
This B&B place does the job. It's clean and functional. The hosts are friendly and welcome (but speak mostly Italian). Breakfast is served for the hosts between 8h30 and 9h30. And you can help yourself from the fridge (drinks and yoghurt).

CanadaThe hot water took a long time to materialize. You had to leave the water running a very long time before hot water would come out of the tap. It was an incredible waste of water. We sent a text to the host about the issue and he was quick to respond, explaining it was a long run to the hot water tank. However, despite running the water for quite a few minutes, one time when we went to have a shower, the water only got to lukewarm before it went cold.
The accommodations was clean and comfortable. There was an amazing view from the small balcony. The hosts were friendly and the woman who served us breakfast (Alessandra) was charming and made us feel welcome. Parking right by the front door was a plus. Free water and juice whenever we wanted was also appreciated. The apartment was located about half way between the Valley of the Temples snd old town Agrigento, so it was a reasonable distance to walk to either.

New ZealandAbsolutely nothing to complain about everything was great.
Everything. Very friendly and patient staff / owners. They all took their time and communicated with us using google translate. Excellent facilities and cleaned daily. Breakfast was incredible, fridge well stocked with juices, water and milk. Coffee machine with pods provided. Very modern and better than most (maybe all) hotels we've stayed at. Location is within walking distance to the museum and possibly the temple entrance, but we drove as it was very hot.

IsraelOne of our two rooms had a bit of an odor of mildew when we first walked in, only after airing out the room for a couple of hours did the odor pass. Breakfast options could be improved, with some fresh fruit or vegetables. At night and early morning there was some road noise, but not too disruptive - the double paned doors worked well.
Great view from the balcony, with comfortable beds. Heating worked well and there was plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the breakfast, with fresh coffee, croissants, yogurt and cookies. The location was good for a one night stay while visiting the Valley of the Temples. We did not see any shops or restaurants within a reasonable walking distance, but to be fair, we did not have time really to explore the area. In the end, we drove to Agrigento center for dinner, and struggled to find parking, maybe due to the time of year. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable.
