Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt was a bit of a hassle to get back to the apartment in the evenings once the metro shut down. Getting to the city was easy as it was only a 7ish minute walk to the closest metro station!
It was nice and clean, very quiet and comfortable. Leo was a fantastic host!

SerbiaEverything was excellent!
All praise for the accommodation and the host. It was even better than we expected. Leonardo was very kind and a perfect host. Excellent connection to the part of the city that is most interesting to tourists during their visit to Rome, even though the "journey" takes about 45 minutes on average, which is not a problem. All praise also for Giuliana, who works at the bar where breakfast is included (right next to the building where the apartment is located), she is very nice! There are also shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

GermanyThe neighborhood is quiet and nice. However, it is not at walking distance from touristic places, so we had some commuting time to the city center.
Leonardo was very nice and hospitable and the communication was great. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The check-out was at 11AM but he let us stay until 3PM. Breakfast was good and he gifted us some snacks and Italian wine. Overall, the place is very comfortable and cozy.

Leonardo was wonderful! He was a wonderful host and first day he made a reservation for a close by restaurant and we had the most affordable & delicious food! The place is about 40 mins to trevi fountain you will need to switch two metros. Metro is about 7 mins walking distance. Leonardo will give you vouchers to have your breakfast downstairs at the bar. There is a good variety of things, we usually kept our breakfast small espresso and some pastries! This is a great place to be around locals. The area is certainly safe but definitely a living neighborhood where many knows each other. Smiley locals- at times I felt stares due to my short dresses but not much to make me feel to unsafe. I just thought I am likely fashionable and definitely screaming foreigner 😂. Leonardo provided us a wonderful privacy, I forgot he stayed in the same place at times. AC worked great!

It is very hard to start with our impressions. I am usually not writing the long reviews but Leo and his apartment totally deserved it! •Clean🧼-10/10 this apartment is everything that small cozy stay should look like. You have everything you need and it is very clean! •Comfort🛏️- bed is soooo comfortable, which for us were very important, maybe the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept on a vacation. •Location📍-You have a metro station 400m from the apartment, it is close and wanted also to point out that this part of Rome is also very nice! There is not much tourists around and that was exactly the perfect way to experience Italian culture and food. Great restaurants around as well as shopping opportunities. •Breakfast🍕- it is free! There is savory options (sandwiches, pizza..) as well as croissants and other pastries. The staff of the Bar are so nice and cheerful, we loved having breakfast there! •The host⭐️- the last but not least! Leo is a great host and seems like a great person, he explained us everything! One day Bar was closed due to personal reasons of the owner and Leo left us 6€ for breakfast! Thank you Leo for everything, we are coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

CanadaRome, in general, is full of graffiti and litter, and sadly this area is surrounded by the same. But please don't let that deter you from staying here, it's truly a hidden gem in a safe neighborhood.
We thought it was a great location for the price. Our host was awesome, very accommodating and so helpful. He's put together a great guest book with information about restaurants in the area and tips for getting around, which contained a recommendation to visit the Catacombs of the Saints Marcellino and Pietro. We did, it was fantastic, well priced and only a few minutes walk away. Excellent shared balcony, yet still felt private. Wonderful space to enjoy some wine. Cafe next door had very good pastries and cappuccino. With so many great restaurants within walking distance, we ate in the neighborhood after we came back from sightseeing. The food was amazing and a fraction of the cost of eating in the tourist areas. Safe neighborhood. Tram was close by and took you right to the RomaTermini train station to start seeing the sites. Bed was comfortable, apartment was clean with a private bathroom. Excellent value.
