Marcos was absolutely a fabulous host and very accommodating. He made you feel like a part of his family and went the extra mile and a half to make sure our needs were meet. He went above and beyond any hotel would ever do. I highly recommend this place due to the amazing property and owners.

We got to the town late and Marco was so nice he came and picked us up. We really appreciated that he was so helpful. We slept in and missed breakfast the next morning. But we walked around the neighborhood and found a sidewalk cafe to have lunch. It was by the water and very good!

Everything was excellent. We wished that we could participate in one of the cooking classes. That was our disappointment.

I could not recommend enough! Marco and his wife are the warmest most hospitable couple ever. We got in by train from Venice late in the evening, and yet they prepared the most delicious dinner we could have expected. I am not a fan of pork usually, but the pork presented in the two courses were so succulent and delicious, I was delighted. Marco is so passionate about showing you all he loves and he has fantastic taste. The breakfast was beyond delicious. I will spend the rest of my days looking for a chocolate yoghurt that tastes just like the one they served. And most of all, Marco went out of his way to find me the most delicious freshly baked croissants for breakfast because I had mentioned how much I loved them. The room was spotless, smelled absolutely beautiful upon entry and was very comfortable. I just want to thank Marco and his wife for the most amazing stay in Roma. We will not forget you. We wish you both so much success. You deserve it.

It was well situated spotlessly clean and suited us perfectly

There were stairs to the lift but they did have a disabled ramp.

The accommodations were very nice. I am always skeptical of beds and rooms in b&b but I was overjoyed. The bed was super comfortable. I told my friend the bed ate me. The room and AC was wonderful and room had mood lighting as well. I slept like a baby which was important after long flight from overseas. The best part was the host Marco. He was super communicative and was very helpful. I needed a dinner place that would accommodate one of my friends that was gluten free for a party of seven and he was very knowledgeable of the area and found an amazing restaurant. My friends were overjoyed and I looked like the hero. In the morning Marco had an amazing breakfast spread and made me a fresh Cappuccino that was amazing. I felt well taken care of!!! Marco also arranged service to go to my cruise ship and the service broke down. With taxi at a premium at last minute Marco got on a moped drove around area and found a taxi for me. If that isn’t above and beyond I do not know what is??..

If I am being nitpicky on an otherwise amazing stay I would say the water temperature for shower did not get that hot but that is common.

The hosts were so caring and lovely. They made me feel very comfortable especially as a solo traveller

I never write reviews but this warranted one. Marco goes above and beyond in every way. From welcome texts before you arrive, espresso on arrival and a delicious breakfast in the morning, the whole experience was one we will always remember. Absolutely loved our stay.

Marco and PIA were over the top with service and the food was excellent!

It doesn’t have a fitness room. That said there was not a fitness room promoted, promised or listed so it was on us.

I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Marco and Pia are the nicest and most generous hosts ever. The room was very clean and comfortable, with an efficient AC and every amenity you may need. Breakfast was delicious and Pia’s baked goodies were awesome. Their hospitality was unmatched and they went over and above to find me a taxi to take me to the port, walk me to a nearby restaurant, carry my luggage and even give me a farewell gift. Truly hope I can stay there again soon.

The owners were outstanding and went out of our way to make our entire trip in Italy great. We stayed here before a cruise from Rome and the experience here was beyond amazing. The warm hospitality and practical help was extraordinary. We enjoyed a meal prepared by a chef there and it was the best food I had during my entire 2 week vacation.

From the montent we booked, Marco was accomedating us and giving us the best service. We came in late but he had already booked us a table at the best pizza restaurant. We as a family eat a lot of pizza and this was the best we had. He meet us when the taxi arrived and got us settled and then walked us to the restaurant. just top service form such a nice guy. Breakfast was also great, with fresh juice and pasteries. ofcourse very good coffe also. If you can book from Marco I would recomend it, rooms, service and location is top notch. We didn't try his restaruant but I hava a feeling that also is great. If we are going on a Cruise again from port we are staying here again.

Our stay with Marco exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast prepared by Pia and Marco. As well, Marco organized our transportation from the airport and to the port. The room was very clean and the service was wonderful. Marco really goes the extra mile to look after his guests. Staying with Marco was a perfect start to our vacation.

I cannot say enough about this fabulous property. Marco went above and beyond to make our stay perfect from the moment we got there. The food was AMAZING! Pia made us a wonderful dinner and the hot croissants in the morning were hot and delicious. Marco helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport along with transportation to the pier the day of our cruise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this property and will definitely stay again.

Lots of stairs, but a small elevator was very helpful.

Marco coordinated our private ride with Max from the airport to the property. Marco was waiting for us and took our luggage to our room and checked us in early from a long flight from Denver. We were able to recover for an exceptional home cooked dinner at the property. Food, drink, and company was amazing!!

Marco is the consummate host who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The room was simple but modern and very clean. The food was exceptionally good, both dinner and breakfast.

Being so centrally located in Civitavecchia, there is some street noise. And the stay is not inexpensive.

"Flew from Paris to Rome to stay one nite here before getting on cruise ship. Marco was very helpful in making all the arrangements, inc having a cab pick us up in Rome, drive here, and then pick us up for ship next day (obviously, the cab charge was extra but reasonable, esp given the excellent service.) It was the end of Marco's season so we were the only guests. The accommodations were fine--perfectly clean and warm--and Marco was an excellent host. NB: Pia prepared us a wonderful fish-themed dinner, all fresh, perfectly cooked and served. As good as anything in Rome, and most likely the best meal served in Civitavecchia that night. All in all-first rate experience. (Note--some of the older reviews complained about going up stairs. There is now a small elevator which solves any steps issues just fine.)"

Marco and PIA are pure gold! we love everything about this property and Marco and PIA were the most amazing host ever! They arranged everything from the moment we booked including transportation, best home cooked dinner we had during our 2 week trip, to every last little detail!! we highly recommend this property and will def always stay here for future visits! you just don’t get this kind of service anymore! incredible and exceptional! melissa and Ben

everything was exceptional

We loved everything about our stay. Marco is the perfect host who cannot do enough for his guests. He helped us with everything from storing our luggage, booking ferry tickets and organising taxi transfers. He takes so much pride in his B&B and thats what makes it a great place to stay. We ate dinner at Marcos family restaurant, which was delicious and very plentiful. The breakfast provided was also exceptional with lots to choose from. We would recommend this B&B to everyone. Thanks again Marco!
