The place was amazing and Rita the owner was much more amazing !! She provided all the right info and also some local restaurants with excellent food! Very friendly and welcoming. The appartment was very cozy, very traditional in front of a local coffee shop that made you felt like you were one of the locals. Very safe area and very beaitiful! We wemt everywhere by feet! Fully reccomend the place!

Unfortunately, there was very little hot water, making showers a bit chilling. The drain in the shower was very slow. These two conditions limited the time you can spend under the water.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, although a little on the small side. It is very well located in the middle of the old town, a short walk to the seaside and ferry terminal. A simple breakfast is provided. Our host was very friendly and generous.

The only downside was the soft bed. But thats my personal taste . I went on to sleep in bumpier ones further in the trip ! Be prepared for some noises of a neighbourhood waking up early..

A lovely warm welcome from Rita. Great to have the tea and coffee making facilities plus a little snack. It is situated right in the old city perfect location. Just 20 minutes easy walk from the station, no hills or masses of steps. Very clean and well equpiied with a quirky ceiling. The next day Rita kindly looked after my baggage while I walked to the beach for a quick dip. (Dont take valuables with you to the beach, tho there are free lockers to put stuff if you do).

We found the street lights were very bright and it was hard to keep the room dark at night as there was no curtain to cover the window in the front door.

Rita was a wonderful host who communicated with us to allow an early check in and provided us with all the information we required for our stay. She also provided a list of great recommendations of places to eat. The room was small, but we expected this. The location was perfect to stay and explore the old town.

I had an amazing stay! The accommodation is perfectly located right in the heart of Bari’s old town, just steps away from all the main attractions, restaurants, and beautiful spots to explore. The place was clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Rita was absolutely wonderful! Super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The mattress was a bit springy and soft, which didn't quite suit my preference for firmer bedding.

During our recent three-night stay at Rita's Place in Bari, we were thoroughly impressed. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities, making it a comfortable retreat. Rita herself was exceptionally polite and accommodating; she even allowed us to store our bags on the last day, enabling us to explore the city freely without the burden of our luggage. The location is great, but what makes this room truly exceptional is Rita. She is the best hostess we ever had, always available, friendly, and helpful. The room is extremely cozy and comfortable, just be aware that the shower is a little bit small. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Bari.

The furniture arrangement makes it quite narrow to get round the far side of the bed

Great communication with the host who met us in person. She gave a thorough handover for the stay.The location was perfect, both near the waterfront but also on the edge of Bari Vecchia. There was a great café outside our front door for breakfast although our host had left us yoghurt and breads. Would definitely recommend to others.

We found it a bit noisy in the courtyard in the early evening and in the morning. Sleeping was quiet.

Rita was amazing in responding to my many questions. She held our bags for us at her place for the day. She also helped us figure out what bus to take to the airport. The location is awesome for all the sights. Thanks for everything, Rita!

Very comfortable stay in my beloved Bari Vecchia, loved the hospitality as our host was very nice and helpful especially as she offered to store our luggage as we strolled round the city. Apartment was cosy and in the heart of old town, it was clean and for one or two nights it is just perfect!

Rita is vibrant and welcoming, we loved meeting her. The room was in a fabulous position in the old town, with a delightful local cafe in the square outside the door. Bed was very comfortable and position was quiet but so close to lovely restaurants and cafes. The old town is incredibly beautiful. It is a labyrinth of stone laneways, cafes, bars and homes, sooo much more than we expected.

I didn’t mind, but there are not any windows in the room. Perhaps Rita have other rooms tho with windows if that is important to you.

Rita is such a lovely host! The room is at ground floor, which was nice after having to climb long stairs at several hostels and B&Bs on my trip. Great location! I would also recommend everyone to visit musee Nicolaiano, signore Filippo and his female coworker are amazing and gave great tip for a restaurant. The museum itself is great with good information in English.
