A little noise from other guest when they enter or leave the property, due to old heavy door. Fridge is out if the room, at the recepttion. The room is a little dark due to the windows on a narrow street

Nice room, big enough, in a small street very quiet. Really close to center. Parking (cheap) is at 6 minutes.

Not dislike exactly but the aspect from the windows is directly onto the multiple windows of the property across the narrow alleyway so we had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy. So no natural light.

Pleasant comfortable room. We had a fairly small double bed but still slept well. Very good value for money. The location is great, just a short walk into the historic centre. Deborah was very helpful, especially telling us about the best parking. Outside the city walls but still only a short walk. (We could have had a code to get close to the property but decided we didn’t need that). All in all a very good stay.

No breakfest available but we knew it from the start we had breakfast in a square really near the hotel - we could walk around the town easily - the rooms were very nice -and the lady in charge you could speak to her by phone any time and she was helpful always.

Our room was very nice and spacious. The location is very comfortable, everything easily walkable, but that’s just Lucca for you. The host, Deborah, was easily reachable and proactive in helping us in all our needs.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean, fresh and well located- it has a lovely pool also however I didn’t use it as it was cold. My room was exceptionally comfortable- the bed was the best I’ve slept in while away including quality pillows. The breakfast was lovely with a good range of choices.

I would have liked water and coffee available in the room or reception area. I didn’t need breakfast, but it’s called B&B so I thought there might be something.

The host Fabrina was wonderful, and the room was modern and clean.

I booked a room very last minute so didn’t have much idea what to expect. The lady that was there when we arrived (Fabine I think) was so helpful. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner and the top places to see in Luca. The room and bathroom were really tastefully decorated. Good towels, good water pressure in the shower.

If you prefer to sleep in a very dark room, the fact that the curtain can’t close completly may be an issue. But in the end, it wasn’t a problem at all.

Air conditioner was a little noisy when it switched on and off. Typically in all mediaeval cities, car parking is outside the City walls and then carry luggage into the central area.

Lovely large room, traditional style and colours. Modern, well appointed bathroom. Central location. Caterina was very helpful. Good size communal fridge for freezing travel ice packs etc.
