Absolutely beautiful and cosy apartment right in the centre of the old Bari. Comfortable bed, amazing bathroom/walk in shower, and well equipped kitchenette. I arrived in Bari on the train and it was an easy more or less straight line walk down the main shopping street to get to the old town and the apartment….i really appreciated the location as I am an older lady and walking is not always easy for me. I was welcomed by the lovely Daniela, who showed me around the apartment, gave me lots of information, including a walking map of the old town, and provided a multitude of snacks, meats, cheese, bread, juice, milk…and wonderful fresh fruit (much of which comes from her own land). The apartment is within east reach of grocery shops, and of course all the restaurants and entertainment you could want are a few steps away. It is also a long stroll or a short bus ride along the seafront to a smallish beach(l did not venture to the larger beaches a little further from the town) I kept the large doors a little open during the day to let in light and fresh air, but due to the location this did not detract from the coolness of the interior….even though day temperatures were in the high 30’s. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hidden treasure🙂

Very spacious & comfortable. Good communication with host. Superb location right in the historic centre but close to modern amenities & public transport. Authentic. Great supply of goodies supplied for breakfast or snacks.

The place is very authentic to Bari, but also the family made sure that everything is comfortable and they managed. Breakfast was quite nice, and Daniela also treated us with fruits from their garden, which was so nice! The location is amazing, room is nice, a bit dark, but you can open the door, bring the light directly.

10/10 all round! Where to even begin. The owner met me on arrival and talked me through all necessary information. She was an incredible host - left me with a fridge full of fresh fruit and gluten free friendly snacks and food. She checked in during my stay to see if I needed anything. The room itself is stunning - part of a 14th century building. The bed and pillows were dreamy- so comfortable! Incredible value for money. I have already told so many people about this accommodation and when I come back to Bari this is exactly where I will be staying! I was so grateful for the host's hospitality and kindness.

Very friendly and caring hosts! Great location! I liked the kitchen facilities and breakfest at my own pace in the morning as well as plenty of good food in the fridge.

Wonderful, cosy apartment in the heart of Bari's old town. Helpful, welcoming owners, great location, interior decorated with taste. So much better than any generic hotel! Staying at Casa di Giò is a fantastic way to experience Bari.

Ideal location for the apartments, with everything within easy reach. The apartment itself is very cosy, the owners Daniela and her son Giorgio are very helpful.

Cooking could be allowed in the apartments as the conditions are right, but for some reason the kitchen equipment is not available. Only a kettle and a coffee machine can be used.

The B&B is in the heart of the old city and it is easy to explore it and to get some rest when you need it. It was quite unique and it felt really cosy. The owners kept checking with me if everything was ok and if I need anything which was super nice. The breakfast and kitchen were quite nice :) Thank you

The accomodation is located in the very old city, all the sights, the main shopping area and the seaside are nearby. Everything is provided and the hosts are available for any need. Amazing experience!

A lovely little family-run B&B in the heart of Bari's old town. I arrived earlier than stated but they were very accommodating. I worked from there on one day and it was a lovely space to work from with lots of places to eat and drink close by. They offer a huge selection of snacks, drinks, food and fresh fruit from their own family farm so I didn't have to worry about breakfast or lunch. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the old town.

Because of its location near a restaurant/bar, it was a little loud at night on a few occasions but it didn't both me too much!

What an interesting place! The rooms are the ground floor of a 15th century tower house in Bari old town. Unusual, quirky even - but you cant really get a sense of what the whole original building was like from just staying in the basement. The shower - a wet room/alcove - is the best I have encountered in over 20 years of staying in Italy. The rooms come with generous supplies for breakfast but if you want something else Bari old town is full of great food - restaurants, stores, delicatessens, bars etc. Great location - Bari is a very vibrant and lively place but although the Casa is a very short distance from the action you feel quiet and insulated too. I wish we'd had more time there and more opportunity to find out more about the property.

Wifi was difficult for my wife's phone but mine worked ok. A small thing really.
