Very nice place ! The owner gave us some tips for the places to visit and such. The bed was comfy and the A/C not so loud compared to what was said in other comments. It's better to have a car around the lake and we always had a place du park it next to the hotel.

Very good morning breakfast delivered to your room every morning for 5 euros was terrific. Upper rooms have views of the lake. I elected the lower floor because of my bad knees and no elevator. Host was nice Bus stop only 4-5 minutes away.

Very narrow and fast road to walk on when getting on/off bus. Bus sometimes was so busy they didn't even stop for pickup which made you not want to make the effort to go to Como. Although the host offered to taxi ride you in town for only $20euro where a taxi costs 50.

If you just want a shower and bed it’s fine…like a hostel really….the owner is quite organised and responds quickly on WhatsApp and gave recommendations. Brought some fruit on arrival. You’d need a car to really get around. And probably wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in the room. It’s a good base if you want to spend all day and night outside and just shower / sleep there.

Spacious. Nice facilities. I made good use of the coffee machine & complimentary pods :) Pleasant owner Francesco who kindly gave me a welcome snack and a lift to station on my last day.

It did feel cold in the room at night when I tried to sleep. I doubled up the blanket which helped. Be aware door faces right into road. This was a new thing for me to experience but is quite normal in Como.

Difficult to take public transportation if you are not driving

Location was close to Como. The management was.flexible with checkout. The room was ok, nothing special.

The towels smelled bad and so did the room. There was a portable a/c unit vented to the outside (hole in the wall) that was not sealed, so bugs or whatever could get in. Parking was not garanteed.

Great place to stay! Take it! Owner is friendly and will help You... Lovely place, italian (Como) wibe and of course the location above it all. Amazing.

Near the place I was going to every day!

It was not cleaned fully, you had to pay extra if you wanted breakfast!!!! And very noisy From the street, the curtains on the outside of the window! The AC didn’t even go higher than 22-23 degrees but it always felt like 19 degrees

Very comfortable with a great lake view. Owner was so helpful and we took him up on his dinner offer on the cover balcony...so much food, simple and tasty.

Accomodation was great, but little around food wise if on foot, and driving on the very narrow Como roads was challenging.

Breakfast was perfect!Host is amazing and welcoming.We loved our stay at the apartment.

We can't find the place for car parking in the nearest village Torno,therefore unfortunately didn't visit the village.But it was Sunday and may be on other days situation is better.

The room was exactly as I was hoping it would be. It was comfortable, clean, cosy & right on the lake. The building has loads of character, far preferable to a characterless, standard hotel, it was so Italian! The parking was easy, the original features gorgeous & loads of little extras, such as good coffee, selection of teas, a cold welcome beer on the house, lots of information, a beautiful breakfast for €5 each, a clean bathroom & a comfy bed. We had the most amazing time!
