How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I would not consider it as exception. More 8,5 points. The room is small. Restaurant was sometimes good, sometime just ok. Reception partially helpful, young lady I found a little bit rude. Also they have not baby sitting service inside hotel, and kids play room is quite dirty without any toys to play.
It’s super nice hotel. Pool is amazing and great location.

Hotel allows dogs. I'm a dog person, but didn't appreciate our neighbor leaving their barking dogs alone in the room. It took 2 conversations with the manager for the situation to be addressed.
Lovely hotel. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Service attentive and helpful. After the first day, they knew how we liked our coffee, and we enjoyed the fresh orange juice. Lovely location across from the beach. Enjoyed time at the pool. Gym was small but adequate. Wonderful view from our 5th floor balcony. A relaxing stay.

The reception staff was not attentive enough and did not try to resolve our request to delay the check-out time by 2 hours. The indoor pooll is small and usually occupied all the time by families with children.
The hotel is in a great strategic location, right next to the beach, restaurants and shops, close to the Aqua Park. The airport is just 10 minutes away by taxi.

One small thing about the hotel: the bath towels were small, thin and worn. One other problem that the hotel couldn't fix: a loud Italian radio station was amplified at ear-splitting volume across the beach and into the hotel rooms, so loud that at times we had to close the French doors to the balconies to keep it out.
The location of the hotel could not be better: across a tree-lined bicycle and pedestrian walkway from the sandy beach. The hotel is super comfortable with a huge lounge and bar, a large indoor dining room, and a lovely terrace for dining (for a certain category of guests, not sure what that was). The exteror is beautifullly planted with bougainvillia, and multitudes of other trees, shrubs and flowers. The room was like a ship's cabin: though small,it was brilliantly designed with closets, drawers, shelves, a desk, good lighting and two balconies. Italian hotels rarely have room to store your belongings, so this was a huge plus. The room keeps to the blue and white theme of the entire hotel, very fresh. The warm, salt-water pool was divine, absolutely refreshing and never crowded. There are huge, wonderful breakfast buffets with an enormous choice of fresh foods, and the food at dinner was remarkably good, especially for a hotel dining room: fresh fish, excellent salads, interesting primi and appetizers. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, especially Antonio, who was very helpful to us, and the entire facility was sparkling clean. We also liked that the vacationing population was almost entirely Italian. We saw few Americans, Brits or Germans. It's more fun to be hearing Italian all around you, especially since Italians do not speak loudly, as a rule. Wonderful place! We would go back in a heartbeat.

In reality it felt much smaller than the photos shown.

Surly at reception when we insisted on a sea view which we had reserved (but the issue was resolved). Lots of extras to pay for like parking and beach.
Pool is amazing, as is the location. Breakfast is nice.

Rooms could use renovation. When you turn the shower on it sprays all over the bathroom. Bed was far too hard for me.
Fabulous location right on the beach, attentive and extremely professional staff, excellent food in the restaurant.

Hotel is not inclusive. if you are not Italian or you are part of a diverse group it is better to go to a different place. Risk to be bullied. Then the employees stalk your social media and sent snotty emails. It was a nightmare during and after the stay.
