This is a hotel with a great cost-performance ratio. We arrived early and they offered us free luggage storage. There are three locks on the door, so the security is very high. The hotel environment is very nice. You can check in by yourself, which is simple and fast. It's well worth recommending.

After main doors from street the hallway was dark and not the nicest. But once past inside door to stairwell it was all good. Bunk bed latches for top bunk were not properly secured. Once locked the bed was stable and safe.

Its quite a hassle to get there by car. Florence was a spontaneous last minute decision during our roadtrip so i didnt do the research before hand. Didn’t know about the ztl-zone. Was very expensive to park the car. I’d recommend Autorimessa Luna. Big car park. The had space for our Van when we arrived 10 minutes for closing time (8 pm). They can help you with getting there without entering ztl-zone. (€35 a night for a small car/€40 big car/€45 SUV/€50 Van). The one this guesthouse recommended was very small and full. Price was similar.

Booked two separate rooms since we travelled as two friends. 1 normal superior room and the other one was a suite including Jacuzzi and Sauna! Only €130 for a suite like that in the middle of Florence is not expensive in my opinion. Loved the location. Stepping outside and you’re right away on the most adorable restaurant street of the city. Self check in was easy. Didn’t get to see the host but that was alright for me. He was reachable through whatsapp. Don’t forget to have cash for the city tax €6 pp.

Entering the property is a little difficult but I understand why the security is important.

The shower was genuinely the best shower I’ve seen in Italy thus far. Not to mention the AC was incredibly cold and so cold I had to turn it off.

Less-than welcoming entrance. We knew about the stairs, didn't expect the 'rough' lobby inside the doors.

Room is over a restaurant/bar, so depending on how late it is open, it can be very loud. Also, a lot of stairs, so if you are not good with stairs, this is NOT your place.

Great location and great amenities. Would Highly Recommend. Very Clean and they made great use of the space.

Nothing. It literally was one of our best stops on our Italian tour.

Cannot say enough good things about this flat. Checkin, location, correspondence and above all it’s like a little bit of luxury in the middle of Florence. Well within walking distance of literally everything you’d want to see in the city. The flat was impeccable, quiet and charming. Would easily recommend for a family or couple.

Bed was two singles pushed together. Either myself or my partner had to sleep in the crack to be close. The “scattered star” ceiling leaves some work to the imagination. Also the bathroom light is not in the bathroom. Makes for a fun time if using the facilities during the night.

Location is perfect, bathroom is very modern. Easy to access and plenty of instructions in case of issues. Clean and well maintained rooms.

Obviously many stairs to the second floor, because it’s history. But think about it, you came to Italy anticipating stairs. So if handicapped or walking issues, this place would be difficult as any other place with stairs. Not a complaint or a negative, just a fact!!!

Loved the location…. Felt like a 4/5 star hotel as far as the room…. Elisa was absolutely fantastic….air conditioned worked great, clean, and quiet. Great value. Safe facility.

I didn't like the stairs but I knew there was no elevator as it was described on the page. So that was not a deal breaker.

The room was great. The location is great as well. Super close from the train station... walking distance. That was very covinient. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Florence!

The remote of the bubble bath wasn’t working unless you put pressure on the back side and one function (bubbles from underneath) weren’t working

Be prepared to carry your luggage in the stairs for 2 floors.

We really like the convenient ubication, close to the train station and a lot of the main points of interest. Easy communication, flexible, willing to accommodate our needs. Very spacious apartment for a family of 4.

The stairs were a little difficult for me, but it does state it in the description.

The room was clean, on the small side which you expect in Europe. You do have to be prepared for 40 stairs. The A/c was amazing very cold! The location is good close to train station and lots of restaurants. The communication was great also. The room has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The 40 step walk up was the only big negative and it is not clear that there was anything that could be done about that.

The support from the staff was excellent and the room was comfortable. The wifi connection was very fast and we used it to plan some activities so that was helpful.

The guesthouse was perfect. Beautiful room, wonderful toiletries provided. Seemless and secure entry instructions. Steps from all the major attractions and Marceto. Our room had an inner garden garden view. Very peaceful and quiet.

The location was perfect! The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The check in instructions were great and it was fine easy to find and get into the room. All communication with the staff was efficient. We felt it was good value for money.
