How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It would be nice to have a working air conditioner in the room, as it was extremely hot during summer.
The appartment is very close to the train station, and in walking distance from Verona Arena. It was great to have refrigerator and coffee machine in the room.

One of the sinks was leaking too much during our stay.
Airco!!!! The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice rain shower. Luckily, it was easy to access the room because we arrived late at night.

I didnt liked that the bathroom was shared. They didnt have mosquito nets. And also they didnt tell us that we need to pay tourist tax. The charged us 3.50e per night per person.
It was great, that in the room we had air conditioning a small fridge, and also coffee machine. The bed was fine and also i liked that we had free toilet paper

Electricity went of in the night so no air conditioning and unable to open electric shutters (total darkness till power restored at 9am). Hotel informed by all guest of situation but no staff were on site. No idea why this happened and no apology.
Location. Large comfortable room with fridge and kettle no tv. Lovely big bathrooms with choice of bath or shower.

perfect location to walk from the train station and into the town. beds very comfy, shared bathroom clean and well equipped. as a solo-travelller check in was easy and I felt safe.

The fridge is a little bit of a noise maker
It was a comfortable stay for us. The location is great, 7 mins from the train and bus station, 10 from the heart of the city, there were nice caffees nearby. The room was warm and clean, the beds comfortable. The balcony very cute with park view Highly recommend

Have to be extra cautious not to wet the bathroom floor due to the water pressure of the sink and the shower and the odd structure of some of the facilities. The room cupboards have an old scent.
The bed was soooooooo comfortable, even though we had only one day in Verona, it was hard to leave the incredible comfort of the bed. Sheets were crispy clean. Location is superb, close to the train station. Self check in and check out is very easy.

Fridge had a very loud hum, had to switch off at night and no blankets to be found just sheets on bed, ok if hot but had a cold night had to improvise.
Picked stay because it was close to the main train station but do not feel it is a good location for a solo female traveller as I didn’t feel safe especially at night it deterred me staying out too late.

A little hard to understand how to check in, but once we figured that out it was all great.

Washing machine can not be used. Communication beforehand with host is a bit chaotic but they mean well.

There were multiple power cuts at the property during my stay, probably a result of the washing machines continuously working during the day.
Quiet and clean room, great location that leads to the center of Verona on foot. The online key the property provided was quite easy to use.

Everything was very good
Very good location. Close to the train station and walking distance of the Arena di Verona. Check-in is online and very convenient. The hosts are very kind and respond quickly to messages. Extremely clean and comfortable.There was a coffee machine with good coffee capsules. There are two bathrooms and we had no problems with other guests .

The window in the room I stayed is facing a very busy road and the traffic is heavy. Closing the shutter tight and using the ear plugs can help for a better sleep.
The location is really convenient for visitors traveling by trains and buses. The neighborhood is neat and safe. There are a sushi take-away, bar, grocery shop and gelateria around which made my stay much more convenient.
