The only little thing I must note is the noise from the small piazza and from the bar on Saturday and Sunday. Despite the great soundproof windows. Wow, Italians really can party. Next time i will take earbuds, but for sure I will book the same apartment.

The owner is really nice and once again thank you for all your useful tips! The apartment is literally in the city centre, but at a really good place app. 200 meters from Da Ferrari piazza (metro, volabus). There is a great bar downthere. I liked the equipment, it was cozy, the room still felt spacious. Was super clean, the shower was amazing as well. Great thing is it is on the 1st floor so you dont need to walk up lots of stairs, just few.

The location was really nice and central but because of that it was pretty loud all night especially on friday and saturday night. We woke up a few times cause drunk people outside were screaming.

I loved the location of the property, it was very central and nice cause a lot of restaurants were in walking distance. Everything was super clean and our host gave us a ton of tipps abput what to do in the area and where to go. We felt very comfortable knowing he would help immediatly in case we need it.

The noise from the bar.

The room was located in the centre of Genova, but the windows are just above a bar which is open too long so there's the noise from there. The room was spacious enough, with a fridge, A/C and wi-fi working perfectly. The beds were comfortable and they offered us cleaning of the room after a couple of days. The owner, Armanino was waiting for us to give us the keys and to explain us everything..

This is Italy after all. Our host told us that the area was quite safe, but did point out on the map where not to go. To gain access to our room, there were 4 locked doors to go through! Throughout our stay we felt safe everywhere we went, even at night.

Our room was quite close to Piazza Giacomo Matteotti in the middle of the old town. The Metro was a short walk away. Our host was very accommodating allowing us to check in out of his preferred time zone. We had a bit of trouble with getting on the right trains and so were some 20 minutes later than we had told him. No problem. He then gave us a city map and enthusiastically explained the local sites and, importantly the location of some good restaurants. Room was spacious, bed comfy and shower hot. The cafe just outside the front door does a very good coffee and pastry. The replica galleon at the port was a highlight.

The bed was good to me because I like mattresses more to the hard side. My husband likes the middle-soft ones and didn't like it that much.

Room is really clean and well-equiped. Location is perfect. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Windows isolate well, which made the room silent.

Excellent room size, spotlessly clean, high quality linen and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning was very effective (and quiet) and the fridge was a welcome addition to the room. The property has been beautifully refurbished to a high, modern standard. Great location in the middle of the old town. The host was amazing - went above and beyond to help us with directions from the car park (Marina) and was communicative, warm and friendly.

The location of the property was PERFECT! Right in the middle of everything we needed. The building itself was confusing, but that couldn't be helped. I found it difficult to locate as there isn't much signage, and the building is very nondescript. The keys were in the wrong order on the keyring, which was a little confusing but not easy to mess up as none of the keys fit in any other hole than they were supposed to.

Clean, friendly, and quiet even though it was in the middle of the city. Extremely comfortable beds. I shall have to find myself the same pillow when I return to the UK. Apparently, I was their first English guest, and the owner didn't speak much English but was sure to make the effort to use Google translate with me when needed. Very secure building with surveillance.
