Our stay in Verona was wonderful! The accommodation was perfect—spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. Anna was an amazing host, even leaving us coffee, tea, water, juice, and delicious croissants with Nutella and jam for breakfast. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. First of all Anna was the best host ever! The room had the most amenities and cleanliness I have ever seen in my travels. The location of the house was not very close to the city center but very close to the bus stops and the station. If I go to Verona again, it is definitely the first location I will choose.

If you are keen to stay right in the old town, this is not the right place

The old town of Verona is a gorgeous historical city, so very popular and expensive to stay in. If you are willing to stay south of the station, about 10-15min away by bus, this property was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner even provided some basic breakfast items and a coffee machine, and she was very kind, we used Google translate to communicate btw Italian and English.

The accommodation unit is a separate block within a large duplex apartment where the hallway and kitchen are shared spaces, and the hosts live upstairs, but this wasn’t an issue.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation with very friendly hosts. The room is spacious, air-conditioned, and has a coffee and tea area, a minibar (fridge), and snacks available to guests for free. The bathroom is large and clean, with everything you need. There’s a terrace with seating and an awning. In front of the building and on surrounding streets, there is free parking (at this time of year). There’s also a bus stop right in front of the building with lines that take you directly to the city center in 15 minutes. We highly recommend it!

The property was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the fridge with various drinks and the coffee and tea station along with some snacks. Anna was the perfect host and so attentive. Thanks for the lift one day when we were at the bus stop! Would not hesitate to book again if we came back to Verona. Grazie x

Honestly, there was nothing we can complain about.

The apartment was clean, tidy, in a great location, outside the city centre so the cafes and restaurants were not ridiculously expensive. The apartment was within walking distance to two water ferry stops and these were very easy to navigate and took no time to get to San Marco Square. The roof top terrace area which we had access to was fantastic, lovely view to share a few Limoncello's. The owners were helpful and friendly and made sure we knew where everything was. We received excellent service.

Very clean room with small terrace and private bathroom, very nice and communicative owner. We communicated through google translate. She was very helpful. We appreciated very much that we had water, coffee and some sweets available in the fridge. We had a car and parked freely on the street. Street under is pretty busy, but we slept very good. We enjoyed our stay :)

The road from the Arena to the house by scooter is 20 minutes, on foot - 40 minutes. The view from the window of the neighboring houses is not bad, but not 10/10.

Functioning air conditioning, nice balcony, private bathroom with shower, refrigerator, bottles of water in the room. Everything is very clean and tidy. The room was not noisy. The house has a chic antique elevator to the 4th floor. I highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Daughter and I stayed for one night on our way to Lake Garda. Had some transport issues due to a rail strike and the owner kept in touch with us throughout our journey to make sure we were ok, The room was fabulous. Very spacious and clean, and the scent of lavender on the bed linen was a lovely touch! Lovely clean bathroom with plenty of toiletries we could use, and a very useful space to make drinks, some snacks and a fridge. We had a small balcony which was lovely to sit out on. The bus stop was directly opposite the property and it was quick and easy to get into the centre of Verona

the internet was a disaster. They gave me access to the wrong router and I was up half the night trying to figure it out. Also, I had someone drop off a package to me. They were in the room for 45 minutes. The owner got very irate about it, claiming that it violated policy. I checked the house rules and it said no smoking, no parties and quiet time from 10-7. She was very rude to my guest, who was very polite.

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to visit Verona and doesn’t mind a walk into the centre. (Took me about 30 mins, there are buses but I walked). The accommodation was very clean, spare towels provided. Anna the host even left drinks and mini croissants. Lovely hot shower, nice balcony to sit out on in the evening. Anna was a great host and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. Very much enjoyed my stay. Grazie Anna! ☺️
