Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaI’ve been thinking for a long time about what to write about this accommodation. Words truly fall short in describing the feeling we had during our stay at this beautiful place. From the very first message I received regarding our booking until the moment we left, my husband and I felt warmly welcomed and treated with dignity. I won’t even start talking about cleanliness and amenities – there is honestly more than enough for a perfect stay in Rome. What I really want to highlight is Monika and her dedicated work. In a sea of hosts who see this just as a job, Monika is one of those rare people who truly live what they do. When we were leaving, I told her that this place doesn’t deserve just a 9.7 – it’s a 10 and beyond. The look of pride and happiness on her face in that moment is something you rarely see in people nowadays. P.S. For those wondering about breakfast – it’s very diverse and there’s really something for everyone. We ordered the same thing every morning because it was THAT GOOD.

First of all, FIRST of all, the staff, the lady that welcomed us was so accommodating, so polite that I can't say "thank you" enough. The breakfast was great, the location is right next to Roma Termini so it is PERFECT!

United StatesIt would be nice if breakfast could be a little earlier. We had early tours and had to leave at 8:15 AM, but the earliest breakfast was at 8 AM. Otherwise, everything was nice. I would definitely stay there again.
Monica is very nice. Good location steps away from the train station. Quiet.

United StatesVery close to Roma Termini, easy access to subway, train or bus to get around Rome. Breakfast was great, and Monica, the manager even prepared something for us even though we had to check out very early in the morning, before breakfast was served.

United StatesThe location is good and bad. It's extremely convenient, but it gets a little sketchy at night with homeless people sleeping on the street. As a man I didn't feel threatened but a woman traveling alone might. That said, it's up high enough, and the windows are thick enough, that I didn't hear any street noise at all. Once you're inside, the surroundings don't matter.
The owners are a young couple who are extremely nice and helpful. They made dinner reservations for me and were concerned about getting me a breakfast I liked. Speaking of which, the breakfast is great: you can choose everything you want from a list and they bring it to you in your room on a cart. They also had fresh fruit available all day, and coffee in the room. Considering the location, the room is relatively spacious and it's very clean. The location is good and bad. It's extremely convenient as it is right across the street from Termini, specifically across from Mercato Centrale, a good place for a quick gourmet lunch. It's very easy to get to and from the airport from Termini, as well as to get buses around the city.

United StatesNothing! It was wonderful
This is a fantastic place! The location is very convenient to trains and buses, and although some people have noted the area around the train station isn't the best, nobody bothered us (3 women), even as we walked around at night. The room is comfortable and quiet with cute furnishings. There was daily cleaning service. Monica is the absolute best -- she is incredibly sweet and helpful. We got a prosecco when we arrived and a box of pastries our last day! Communicating with her is easy and she was very accommodating when our train/plane got delayed and we were late coming in. Plenty of hot water, beds/pillows were comfortable, A/C was so nice, WiFi worked. There is literally nothing bad to say about this place. I would 100% come back and stay here!

GermanyI am beyond happy that we discovered Archie di Roma Guesthouse. It was the perfect place to stay in Rome, located right next to Termini. You have easy access to all kinds of activities in the city. Our host was amazing – she was always there to fulfill our wishes and made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was served directly in our room. We stayed in a stylish, spacious room facing Termini. It was very well insulated, extremely modern, and fully equipped. For anyone visiting Rome, I can only recommend staying at this guesthouse.

Monica was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out times were handled with great flexibility, which we really appreciated. We were especially impressed by the breakfast served right in our room — it was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Rome! United StatesI can't think of anything I didn't like.
I would highly recommend this property. The location can't be beat. The neighborhood is a little rough looking because it is across the street from Termini station, but that is what makes the location ideal as well. It was so easy to catch trains, metros, or busses, and there were many good restaurants within walking distance. Once you enter the property, the neighborhood is forgotten. The guesthouse is very clean and quiet, and the beds comfortable. Monica, the face of the staff, is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay. She is always available to answer any questions, even if it is only by texts. The breakfast is good and is delivered to your room at a time of your choosing.

TurkeyNothing comes to mind. Maybe the radiator could be cleaner to hang out towels. I mostly used other hangers to hang my towels. But I didn’t give this feedback while I was there, I am pretty sure that they would have handled it if I ever shared this.
It was one of the best experiences we have ever had with my boyfriend! Monica was a super host with lots of help both prior to trip and during the trip. She recommended places, helped us for every need of ours and she even sent small gifts to our room. 🥹 The hotel’s location is amazing! You can walk almost everywhere if you have comfortable shoes and you also have so many bus & metro options. It’s also very easy to get to the hotel as there are buses from the airport at rates less than 10 EURs. Rooms were clean, they were cleaned everyday. Room also had an air conditioner which was working perfectly fine. Room also had body wash, shower caps, shampoo so everything you need at hand. Windows were also thick enough to prevent any noise pollution from entering the room. The breakfast was also very nice! You have the breakfast in the room which is very cozy and you have enough space in the room for that. The best thing is, you can select what you would like to have the next day from a simple menu. They do this in order not to waste anything. How thoughtful. 🍀 Definitely 5/5 - without any doubt!

United StatesAbsolutely nothing!
The young girl who owns this hotel is so kind and accommodating and her attention to detail is impeccable! You see it wherever you look from the crown molding and chandelier in our room to the beautiful drapes and amenities including fridge, coffee maker and tea kettle. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the best we had during our Italy trip. The rooms are spacious and the AC works well. Breakfast was wonderful. You place your order the night before and it is delivered at your preferred time on a tea trolly. Despite being across from Termini the room was very sound proofed from the neighborhood and felt very safe. There are 3 locked doors before you even get to your locked room. Another benefit of Archi guest house is, it is directly across from Termini and is only a 5 minute walk to get to the Leonardo Express train that goes directly to FCO airport. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Lovely, clean hotel for when you are passing thru Rome.

AustriaA Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rome! My stay at Atrati di Roma Guesthouse was simply perfect. The room was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated with charming vintage movie posters, and equipped with everything one could need, from a coffee station to a spotless modern bathroom. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. From the warm welcome note and complimentary prosecco to the daily surprises like fresh desserts and thoughtful messages, the staff (especially Monica) went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. If you’re looking for a cozy, immaculate, and welcoming place to stay in Rome, this is it. Highly recommended guys!
