The air conditioning was in front of the bed flowing directly on us, we could not sleep with air confitioning on, while it was very hot turning it off. We could not open the windows because mosquito screens were missing.

The mattress in the Salvia-room was a bit thin and I could feel every movement from my partner in the bed. As far as I could see, the bed in at least one of the other rooms was much better.

The facilities, the breakfast, the little details that make a difference. The location was near the train station so was perfect for using the train daily to get to all those beautiful cities on the coast.

My husband didn't realise the bathroom was outside the bedroom when we booked ( it was written in the title his fault) so we would opt for one of the other rooms with private bathroom in the room. The bed was a little hard.

The room was nice. The shower was good. Very large choice for breakfast. Excellent location, 3 minutes from train station. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops.

Everything is really nice, but the curtains are a kind of see through and the room can be very bright, specially in the morning, and if you end up in a room facing the street it can also be a bit loud at times, so if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in I recommend bringing an eye mask and maybe some noise cancelling buds.

Excellent location ! 5-10 mins walk from La Spezia Centrale train station and 15-20 mins walk from the boats that tour the Cinque Terre. The room was comfortable, clean and of a very good size. The bathroom was a bit small but also clean and had some essentials ( hairdryer, shampoo and soap). Part of the breakfast is offered in your room and you can eat whenever you want, and there’s also bread, cheese, eggs, coffee etc available in the communal kitchen every morning. Our host, Ale, is very attentive and kind, and gives great tips on where to eat and what to see. Wifi was mostly stable when I was there as well.

Place is pretty noise during night, I recommend ear plugs.

B&B L'Arca Di Noè is a 4 bedroom apartment with common kitchen and entry hall, at the 4th level of an old building. We had one of the rooms with private bathroom. The breakfast was very good compared to similar places in Italy, we had a basket full of sweets like croissants, cookies, other pastries etc in the room (that was refiled second day) and also a tray with ham, cheese, fruits, yogurts, butter etc in the fridge. Also eggs that you could prepare yourself in the kitchen. Also coffee and orange juice. I read many bad reviews about the breakfast but nothing to worry about, it was more than ok. Very close to the train station. Also we arrived very late to check in after 11 p.m. and had no problem with the check in, but you have to let the host know if you are in this situation. Also we could leave the luggage there for a couple hours after check out and that was very helpful.

The online check in, if you arrive after 6pm, is not so great. I don’t feel confortable sharing my personal id on Whatsapp. The street and the building is very dark in the evening

The room was changed without prior information. The bathroom was a mess - clogged drains which made a ridiculously loud noise every time water was running. The plumber came and did something but the next day the water just started getting pushed out making it all really disgusting and messy. The owner gave us a key for the spare bathroom but if our original room was given to us then this wouldn't have been the issue. Ale really tried to fix it and apologized multiple times but unfortunately that did not change the experience for us.. :-(

The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk from La Spezie Centrale at the beginning of the main Street which is laden with restaurants and shops and ends with the harbour front

So many things. On January 29, I made a reservation for this accommodation. The reservation details stated that the bed type was either one double bed or two single beds. I submitted a special request asking specifically for two single beds. Less than 24 hours before check-in, the accommodation sent me a message saying that the reserved (and already paid for) room did not offer the option of two beds. The property had more than four months to inform me that it wasn’t possible to have two beds and failed to do so until 15 hours before check-in. Had I known we couldn’t have two separate beds, I would have booked another accommodation. We checked in and at 9 p.m., the power went out in the property. There was no staff member on-site to fix the issue. I had to call the property manager myself and flip the circuit breaker back on to restore electricity. Twenty minutes later, the power went out again. I told the manager they needed to send an electrician to fix the issue. Other guests who arrived a day earlier told us there had already been a power outage the night before. I complained to the manager and asked that they provide this most basic service—electricity—for the guests. Her response was that if I wasn’t happy with the accommodation, I was free to go stay somewhere else tomorrow. And the power went off the following day again. Other things I didn't like: the breakfast is mediocre; they don't change the towels daily, one day they didn't left soap and shampoo for us; we run out of toilet paper and have to look for ourselves where to get another one; they didn't accept credit cards to pay the city tax (whereas all the accommodations in Italy do); the TV had a 21 inch screen (too small to watch)

The breakfast was not very good. Most things were packaged/processed. I would have skipped all together if I had the choice.

The owner was kind and wonderful. Not her fault that I did not sleep for both nights that I was there because a) noise on street b) very uncomfortable pillows and bed. The location was great!
