We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IrelandThe apartment needs a renovation (decoration and furniture) . There are 4 rooms and a common living room. It has all you need for a couple of nights but it can be a bit uncomfortable for longer stays.
The location is great. Just in front of the port and old town. All restaurants and bars are at the doorstep and around and also a nice beach is 5/10 mins walking.

Poland- Old forniture and equipment. Just as an example, the air conditioner is so noisy that it's impossible to keep it on during the night. It means there is NO air conditioning in the room, but at the same time it is not possible to keep the window open being in a central road. Same for the fridge, super noisy - Terrible old toilet with shower full of hair from previous guests - Questionable cleanliness with quilt probably not washed since 70ies - Holes in the sheets - Not even a bottle of water...if it was not for the luck to be in front of the port, this room would be worth almost zero and it was not cheap at all. We paid less for a wonderful other place in Alghero, so "cheap" price is not an argument for the conditions presented to the guests.

SwedenThe room had a very strong smell of stuffy cigarettes. The fridge was way too loud, couldn’t have it on. The AC was the same, could barely have it on. The walls are super thin so you hear everything. There was no information or suggestions from the host for my stay except for the information about the key. I wouldn’t stay here again.
