Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

I would have given it 10/10, but constant noise from the apartment above us spoilt it. People dragging chairs, suitcases and walking in noisy shoes woke us up and prevented us from getting to sleep.
We liked the location, apartment, pool, and apartment staff.

Great location. Good parking facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent communications. The apartment is very well laid out to optimise use of space.

the outer door lock was fickle but the management said they would check it right away.
the location is the very center of the town and had lots of little shops and restaurants around the apartment. the apartment was very, very clean and they give you a surprise basket of goodies to welcome you. this was our favorite apartment on our trip to Italy!

Location is ideal. Clean apartment with fresh stuff - no dusty, musty or moldy smells. Groceries very nearby. Shops and coffee very nearby. Right in the middle of everything but very quiet. Accurate photos.

Wish the view was better. The view looks out into a courtyard shared by other apartments that are very close.
The location was amazing. Walking distance to everything. The design of the hotel room was 10/10. Modern duplex space. In the perfect life, I have an apartment just like this in Milan. The view could have been better. We were in Milan for Monza formula 1 race week.

I never think the beds are very comfortable, so this probably rates the same as others like it, but the bed could be more comfortable.
A+ Location in town. In the center of all the action for eating, shopping and drinking. Was able to park my car safely and easily with an advanced arrangement with the host. Great Hosts !!

Super location and apartment has loads of space, could easily fit four people (we were a group of 3). The service from the staff is very impressive, they gave a full briefing of what to do, where to eat/ go on day trips etc and they also booked table reservations for us. The info was all sent then via WhatsApp and any queries we had were answered via WhatsApp. Top class service.

On our arrival, we didn't know to walk along the waterfront then around the side of town and then along the steady slopping main road which is the block above the waterfront. Instead we lugged two heavy suitcases up the many stairs to the apartment.
Whilst not having water views, this is a great appartment and in a great location. The best thing is that you are right on a corner where all the things you want are - wine shop 3 steps directly across the street, mini supermarket and deli 1 minute walk, cafes everwhere, clothes and shopping right on the main street 10 steps up the hill. Appartment is clean, well appointed and spacious. Hosts are very helpful

If you can don't go to Bellagio during summer (July-August). Choose a less touristic time. it's the worst time, you don't get to enjoy. First time of my life time to see that much people getting in a queue to eat in a restaurant, and it is like that at lunch and dinner.
We were there one month and half ago. The location is perfect. The apartment is big enough for a family. And the managing staff is very helpful. Maybe a coffee machine would be perfect in the "kitchenette".
