No negatives, but a few things to note. There is a flight of stairs up to the room. There is a very small closet to leave bags after check-out but will not fit two 50-lb roller suitcases.

We booked this room for the value so as expected the furnishing is modest and small but very clean and comfortable! There is AC which we enjoyed. The real gem of the stay was the kind host Giancarlo who met us at check-in, helped us find parking in busy Florence, helped us figure out payment, and took my bags to the room. We appreciated his help very much!

Great location. All 4 of our kids had their own bed. 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Clean. Note this apartment is on first floor, not ground floor. That caused a tiny bit of initial confusion.

A great location, just south of the river, so a little away from the tourist throngs, but just a 15 minute walk to the station, 25 minutes to the Duomo. We walked across the Ponte Vechhio many times to get to the old town, which was great. Easy walk to the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace. This apartment is in an old building, so the layout reflects that. The two bedrooms each had an ensuite bathroom, one is spacious the other petite, but with a very fancy shower! A personal welcome at check-in from the host and there were many amenities provided - bottles of water, some drinks, coffee & tea, box of tissues etc - really nice touches. We were also allowed to store our bags in the apartment after checking out, as this worked with the timing for the next arrival - again a nice touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. A very good value cafe for breakfast just round the corner - Caffe Surace on Via Sant Onofrio. Through the gate in the city wall is a nice square with a lovely little restaurant/bar with an enthusiastic host lo Schiaccia Vinto. Here we had the Florence speciality cows stomach bun.

The shower is very small, but not uncommon in Italy. Wish there was a shelf or something to put your shower products because you cannot bend over in the shower to get the stuff on the floor without opening the doors and squatting down isn’t very comfortable.

- Water temperature of showers fluctuated often - Lacks a little bit of natural light - Floors were very dirty, had to mop twice to clean it

- Two bathrooms with showers and toilets are great when travelling with children - Host was kind enough to leave us some drinks and snacks - They even had plug adapters! - Quiet neighbourhood - Nice park with playground a few minutes away - Many good food options of all types (pizza, pasta, gelato, etc) within a 10 minute walk

The accommodation was ok. It was clean and had a comfortable bed, but it desperately needed more light. The bedroom was so dark we couldn't even read.

The location was great. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby, so popular you need to book!!

The room was smaller than we expected, but not a real problem. The shower stall has a little mold on the floor track but I forgot to mention it to Gianni

The location was fine if you like to walk! Close to river, close to city center, lots of nice little cafes and bars and bakeries nearby. Giancarlo was a super helpful host. Loved the coffee pods in the room.
