How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Only complaint as a hot sleeper is wish the AC worked slightly better in reaching the bedroom

A full length mirror and more hooks for towels etc would have been useful. A/C unit in living room very noisy and needed maintenance.

Bathroom is a bit outdated but completely functional, would benefit from new towels
Location is brilliant, a really short walk to the main pier and in the centre of Bellagio with numerous restaurants on doorstep. Apartment is spacious, equipped with everything you need for your stay, bed very comfortable. Has nice outside space (balcony/terrace) with partial views of lake. Convenient parking outside apartment (additional paid option). Really lovely hosts who provide lots of information and suggestions on arrival, and even a little toy for our toddler for his stay!

Excellent location to stay. The hosts were amazing and extremely helpful throughout, during travel and during our stay. Easy walking distance for everything in Bellagio. The parking was a brilliant addition however it was a little unclear initially about where to go. The spaces are just the far side of the Babayaga Restaurant, directly underneath the apartment. Our 4 door pick up fitted nicely. . Rooms very clean and airy. Would stay again.

Romano welcomed us promptly upon arrival & location was convenient (adjacent to Grand Hotel Villa Bellagio, 2mins to the pier & 5mins to Ristorante La Punta), kitchenette/double bed sofa, stable Wifi @ ~8Mbps and air-con only in the living room.

Restaurant below made a lot of noise between 2230 and 2300 as they were closing but once we’d worked out their routine it wasn’t an issue
Lovely welcome with good advice and lots of information. Well appointed apartment with high quality furnishings and nice touches. Good people watching balcony and in a great location.

Sofa bed is always, not only in this apartment, less comfortable than a real bed.

Great location, very clean place. There is a parking spot right next to appartment, which is very convenient. Host Romano is a very pleasant person to deal with. Highly recommend this place

The apartment is located near the centre near restaurants and near the ferries . It had a lovely yard and a nice balcony And it was pet friendly . The owners of aprtment were very helpful

Great location! Ramon and his wife are wonderful hosts. Very kind and helpful with retrieving our luggage delayed by the airline.

WIFI was very slow and only one toilet/bath.
Friendly and accommodating host. Parking was close by and included. A lot of info available in the apartment (ferry schedules, maps, tours, etc.) and perfect location.

The apartment does not have a lift, so if that is a necessity for someone then please put this into consideration. However, the host was extremely sweet and helped us in carrying our luggage to the second floor.
Firstly, the hosts were amazing. They welcomed us and helped us with the bags. Upon entering the apartment they provided us with maps and activity/ ferry schedules and gave great suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to explore. The location of the apartment was great, just 2 minutes walk from the ferry terminals. The apartment was very spacious and the terrace balcony had a view of the gardens and the clock tower. There is also a restaurant right below the apartment which served great food! right next to us was also a salon. All in all, everything was perfect.

The bed isn’t the most comfortable but we still slept great.
Loved the location, the patio area, all the space during our stay (so nice to have a kitchen!), the ability to open the doors to all the rooms and let in the beautiful Lake Como air. The owners are wonderful!!

The property was in the perfect location just out of the busy streets of Bellagio. The owners were super attentive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was so spacious which was a great break from smaller hotel rooms!
