The outdoor pool was covered on the evening I arrived. As I forgot my bathing suit, locating one, by bus, in the local shopping area was a successful adventure. But I never saw the outdoor pool uncovered. I was told, by my travel companion that there was an indoor pool, but never investigated that theory.

I did not partake in the breakfast as I checked in late, slept in and am not much of a breakfast person. The coffee was very nice and The staff was WONDERFUL!!! They helped me remain calm, when I was falling apart from my lost/stolen passport. The room was clean with outdoor seating area that made you really feel like you were in your own space at a resort and could enjoy the outside area of your room. Loved It. It was a bit far to anything else. Would recommend renting a vehicle, as taxis can become rather expensive and the bus drivers will NOT speak to you for directions. Hopefully you run into nice locals that will help you out

The staff were lovely, particularly the concierge, who because the restaurant was closed (ascension of mary to heaven), organised a delightful trattoria in the village for us. The area was also lovely and let us see a bit of the real Italy away from the tourist routes.

Even though the hotel is newer than the other four star hotel nearby, it looks a bit old. I don't know if they are starting to renovate the second floor, but the carpet looks old and with faded colours, the skirting is missing and it looks like you are in a low budget, cheap hotel. We were a group of seven people with four rooms, in each room the brass part around the shower valve was broken, some had the valve itself broken, and in one rooms we found a couple of hairs on the bathroom walls, which is unacceptable for a four star hotel. My room had a broken room key card reader, so I had to call the reception and the hotel's electrician to solve the issue. Overall, even though the staff is professional, helpful and friendly, the hotel looks a bit neglected. Hopefully they renovate it soon enough. For thirty years my family has been going to Castel S. Pietro Terme for work, and usually westay at Hotel Castello (which is 600m from Anusca Palace). This time, as it was a vacation with friends, I decided to go to Anusca as it has an indoor pool and spa. Unfortunately, as explained before, the hotel needs a bit of renovation. So, honestly, as things are right now, I'd rather go to Hotel Castello, which is a bit smaller and more cozy, but was renovated not long ago. And if you want to go to the spa, it's a shot 5 min walk from Anusca, as anyway the pool and spa are open even for non guests of the hotel.

The gated parking lot is spacious, the rooms are simple and comfortable. Breakfast is abundant, with plenty of choices from cakes, croissants, eggs & bacon, salami, cornflakes and various jams. Plenty of room in the lounge and breakfast area, very clean and quiet, perfect for people that travel for work. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a nice view of the local park, with a nice lake. Overall it's a relaxing experience.

The room was extremely basic - no frills, no coffee machine, no dressing gown or slippers. One of the lights didn’t works. Put right at the end of a corridor- felt like we were in the worst room. Was not able to request a change as we were out at a wedding all day and could not see room at check in

For me over one night it was faultless.

Didn't have breakfast. Needed to get on the road. Restaurant closed for evening meal due to Holiday weekend but reception booked me in to nice pizza restaurant nearby. Hotel was stunning & went way beyond my expectations both in style & cleanliness. Will definitely be back.

The staff were super polite and sweet! The hotel is a bit secluded and calm, surrounded by a beautiful forest with walking paths. Room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast was ok, not the widest selection but croissants were out of this world!! Must try!

- the room has kittle with tea bag but no coffee. but when I asked for coffee the make a cup for me - the AC was not cooling. - the telephone ws not working but when I asked them they fixed it. - location is far away to the city
