The bed wasn't too comfortable and a bit outdated than what I would expect at a 4* hotel. Also the walls seem to be pretty thin so you can occasionally hear the guests from the neighboring room.

The location was great, 10-15 mins walk down to the lakeshore and also in walking distance to some nearby restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very rich in options. Parking available onsite, but based on the time of arrival it might be full, however the staff allowed us to park in the garage next door the last night when we didn't find a parking.

A beautiful hotel in a great location! Close to the beach and a longer walk to the center. Comfortable hotel. We had a room with a terrace, clean and pleasant standard room. Exceptional breakfasts, children's attractions, swimming pools, and a playground.

We booked a double bed room, end up sleeping in a two separated beds, even though receptionist said to us that there supposed to be a double bed room, how can a receptionist not know precisely how’s the room configuration? Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Breakfasts are a bit blunt, coffee is good only if you order at the bar. Rooms have a bit feeling of parish house more than a hotel. Our room was a bit cold and outdated.

It's fine. Not great, not terrible. I think it is a solid hotel, which has what you seek. It has nice gardens, nice pathwalk on the lake-side. It is quite and has a real feeling you're in Italian old monastery. Feeling is good. Solid 7. Garden on the balcony was very lovely and very well maintained.

Cute hotel, quiet, peaceful. Loved the room with balcony, pretty roomy, comfy beds and a lot of storage space. Over 20 pieces of clothes hangers in a wardrobe. Very clean all over. Big pool and beautiful pool area. Good breakfast. Elevator is very handy. Friendly staff.

There was very little sound proof between rooms and you could easily hear tv and conversation in the next room.

Our room had a shared balcony with other guests with no dividing so it was quite weird.

The location is great, close to beautiful beaches. The pool was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. Enjoyed breakfasts - great variety and a lot of fresh fruit. Nice salad bar at dinner.

The receptionists could be friendlier. Seemed young and inexperienced in the basics of client interaction.

Hard to find a parking space in the evening. Combined balcony, thin walls not a lot of sound insolation. The mattress was split in the middle.

This is a beautiful hotel with the great location, just a few minutes walk trough the camping area to the private beach. The breakfast was incredible! A great variety of local products, continental breakfast plus a lots of fresh fruits and chilled prosecco! The hotel restaurant was serving a good quality food, fish, pizza, pasta, etc. On the arrival there was a problem with the card terminal, so we have been asked to pay cash for the dinner, the next day the problem was sorted. The room we have been offered on the arrival wasn't great, as it didn't have a balcony, which we preferred, as we were staying with our dog. After our request, the next day we get a lovely room in the main building, with the balcony:)We just paid an extra 20 Euro per day for it, which was worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a free parking space available for almost every quest. We didn't have a chance t use a swimming pool, as we preferred a lake, but the swimming pool area looked very good. Our stay at Antico Monastero Hotel was very enjoyable and we will definitely come bac there in the future! Thank you Antico Monastero!

Campsite right next to the hotel. Reception ladies not the friendliest bunch, not knowledgeable about area, didn’t want to speak English. I would rate this hotel as a three star, paint on the walls was peeling, picture below. Shower head was disgusting and needs changing. There was plenty of food, but not very tasty. The reason why I booked this hotel, was due to kids club and activities that I was hoping my son will get involved into. Kids club was good on one day when they played football. All other days kids sat on the iPads, teachers on their phones. So I played tennis with my son and he found another kid who played football with him. Very disappointing

Tried to bill us for the full stay on departure even though we had already paid for the room. Table service can be a bit slow in the restaurant/bar.

The rooms were clean and everything worked in them. Two pool options, located beside the lake. Breakfast was ok, repetitive as expected I suppose. The hotel as well as the general area is very relaxed, calm, good for a relaxing break. I didn’t realise before booking that the camping park was connected to the hotel, if I had of done my research better I would have booked a mobile home with a terrace and seats, we booked a room without a balcony and having either a terrace or balcony would have been a good feature to sit out in the evenings etc. if I was to go back I would defo go for a mobile home next time.

The hotel looks 500 times better in the photos than in reality. The pools are extremely cold — it’s impossible to swim. We expected much more, but in terms of accommodation quality, this is definitely not a 4-star hotel.

Very unfriendly and unpleasant welcome from the receptionist Olga, the lady rolls her eyes at the guests, nervously and angrily searches the reservation on the computer. Olga the guest is always right. She behaved like some old strict teacher. The pools are terrible and old. By the pool there is a restaurant with plastic chairs and tablecloths, left over from the 1990s. I wouldn't even mention how disgusting the breakfast is. The food at breakfast stinks because it is sitting outside in old refrigerators that of course don't cool. (you will see pictures of the breakfast in the photos). Traces of unwashed lipstick on the "clean" glasses. Below average clientele, they sit in the restaurant in socks, keeping their feet on the chairs. The only positive thing is that the hotel is dog friendly. The hotel is for 2 stars.

Aabsolutely nothing, we regretted coming. Total miss.
