We had originally booked the arco apartment plus a room at the hotel for 6 travelers. Once we realized these were two separate locations we were panicked but Davide helped us and our stay was perfect! We will be back.

The address to the accommodations should be communicated at least a day in advance. It should also be made clear that the address on the listing is the main building where the reception is, but you end up staying, so you will not have a river view or anywhere near it.

Hotel layout is a bit confusing.

Great location in Florence, in the middle of the historic area. Lots of shops and cafes around, right on the river. This hotel has an amazing patio overlookjng the Duomo. In the evenings you can sit here, sip a drink and listen to music from street artists down below on the square. One patio looks out toward the Duomo and another toward the river, worth it just for that! Breakfast is included, nice - nothing too fancy but has good basics. The rooms are very clean, great showers, refrigerator in room is nice to have too! No gym or pool on property. Staff is very nice and helpful. There is a bar that serves drinks in the evenings. Overall would definitely recommend!

We were happy to stay at via dell' Oriuolo, 1. The apartment has been recently renovated, is absolutely clean and spacious. It is on the top floor with a beautiful terrace, and you can take the lift right up to the door. Three bedrooms and a living room, wooden floors. The owner provides towels, bed linen, iron, toiletries, detergents for the dishwasher and washing machine, and even some coffee capsules. There is air conditioning in each room. In short, the apartment is perfect. It is quite a noisy area both during the day and at night - keep this in mind.

This is absolutely perfect location if you’re only in Florence for a few days and want to be walking distance to the most popular areas and museums. Our room was large and a great large bathroom. We loved the very traditional style of the room. There’s also a beautiful terrace at the top of the hotel thay gives you some of the best views of the city for free. There’s a bar as well that I’m sure was wonderful, although we didn’t get to try it.

The hotel has a beautiful breakfast and a light lunch food service, which was fine for us. The room wasn't really accommodating for bringing back a pizza - we didn't want to eat in a restaurant every night. There wasn't really a big table to eat on, just a small table that would be great for coffee, but there was no facility to make it (or tea) in the room. You needed to go to the beautiful enclosed porch or the terrace bar to get those things. Sometimes I just wanted to eat or have some coffee/tea in the room. There was a septic smell problem in our bathroom that I suspect was due to the building being so old, but we needed to keep the door shut. The hotel tried their best to address it but I suspect it was just part of being in old Firenze. I still recommend this hotel. It is elegant and beautiful with fantastic staff.

The hotel was very elegant and the breakfast was wonderful and they definitely accommodated American guests very gracefully. The Terraces (there were many) were absolutely beautiful and had stupendous views.

Small things like water pressure were a bit outdated. But we understood this is part of what comes with staying in a historic building.

This hotel is a gem! We had a beautifully appointed and very spacious apartment with incredible views of the River. My family and I loved going on the rooftop bar and the breakfast room where we could get a 360 view of Florence. Superb location as well.

Excellent location- our apartment overlooked the Arno. Michael was wonderful in welcoming us even though we arrived at 2am and he even arranged a platter of food for the kids. The library is very nice to relax you can enjoy the street musicians from the small verandah. The apartment is so airy and spacious- a reprieve from the business of the streets in Florence.

A little noisy in the early hours of the morning, as if some one was exercising?
