Great location, its a renovated tower with wonderful views of the old city. The rooms are wonderful, offering quiet and privacy, well equipped, coffee machine, fridge with complimentary water/ refreshments, breakfast is fresh with focaccia and croissants from a local bakery. A truly hidden gem!!!

Nothing major – just be aware that due to the location, there are some stairs and limited vehicle access, but that’s typical for Matera’s old town and part of the charm.

Alina was a wonderful host – extremely friendly and welcoming. She greeted us warmly, showed us around the rooms, and explained the key sights on a map. The location is perfect, right in the historic center. You can drive up to Duomo Square to drop off your luggage, and then park in one of the nearby garages. A truly authentic and memorable experience in Matera.

The location was perfect, the view from the rooms and the rooftop was spectacular. The room itself was beautifully decorated and furnished, you feel the love that was put into these facilities. The host was very knowledgeable, dedicated and invested in their property.

This is no refection on the hotel but we did have difficulty finding it, even though Alina had sent directions complete with photographs. Matera is full of little lanes and once we took a wrong turning we got a bit lost. Again it was entirely our fault and Alina had done all she could to make it easy for us.

The location is stunning. We had our own private balcony where we sat with a lovely wine and marvelled at the view. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Alina is a marvel. The parking lot (Parcheggio Park Scotellaro) that she recommended was very good, reasonably close and just outside the ZTL. She met us to welcome us and show us the facilities, and marked recommended walks of the town on a map. We would stay here without hesitation if we are ever fortunate enough to return.

Perfectly located between the 2 sassi, the internal design and fit-out of our room was exceptional. Our host Alina could not have been more helpful and friendly and we would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Wow - absolutely fantastic hotel, highly recommend. Alina (owner) and staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and came with a luxurious spa bath and a private balcony with incredible views of the city. The hotel also has an amazing roof top terrace open to all guests. Location is perfect and check in/out was quick and easy. Alina provided detailed instructions via Wattsapp which made it very easy to find the entrance. Extra bonus was the delicious breakfast provided by the hosts along with a well stocked coffee machine in our room. We had such a special time in Matera and will definitely stay here again if we return. Thank you!!

Breakfast was great, I would have liked more savoury options and more fruits, but this comes from reflecting later. The amount of food was perfect.

Location is perfect, view from the balcony is breathtaking and the room was really comfortable. Even though it’s a central location, it was really quiet.

Luciana at the reception was so informative and let us know all the best places to visit during our stay. She also kindly let us keep our luggage there after check out time so that we could explore Matera some more before leaving!

Getting there is a challenge pedestrian only access, but that is Matera due to it’s geography, but heavy luggage is a challenge
