Great atmosphere in a historic stone building a short walk from the historic centre. The owner waited for us with a late arrival and in the morning she prepared an amazing breakfast with fresh pancakes.

Nothing to dislike. Put up with no air con and open a window.

The hospitality, care and professionalism of Clarissa made the stay pleasurable. She is so courteous and the breakfast she prepares is amazing. This is a typical Tuscan B&B, so expect basics done superbly. No air con but ample fans. Very clean with great bathroom and shower. Bed extremely comfortable and spacious. Set 400 metres walk from the lovely centre of San Quirico D'Orcia. Great value for money in the high season in the middle of the amazing Val D'Orcia. If I returned, I would, without hesitation, stay here again.

A few power losses due to stormy conditions but outside the control of our host

Comfortable room with shower, our host offered us fruit, coffee and cold water on arrival. The room was clean. The breakfast and coffee were excellent & about 9 different home made cakes as well to choose from. Our host even gave us pancakes for our walking trip!

The breakfast is amazing and freshly made on the spot. Top location for exploring Val d’Orcia by car. Clean and spacious rooms, equipped with everything you need (even toothpaste and toothbrushes). Although the signora speaks only a little English, she’s incredibly kind and helpful, and communicating with her was actually easier than with most Italians (and genuinely very pleasant). Card payment is possible.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, gorgeous room and ensuite. Signora Clarissa is an angel. I arrived after a long day of walking in the Via Francigena with nothing to eat (restaurant next door closed for holidays) so the Signora offered me whatever I wanted from the breakfast buffet food. The bed was comfortable and totally quiet. I really had a great night. Breakfast was more like Brunch, Signora made me scrambled eggs and pancakes plus juice, pastries, cakes, meat, cheese and good coffee. High recommend and only a 10 minute walk back to the VF path to Gallina/Radicofani.

Just to be aware that B&B is on a hill so for those who struggle to walk it could be challenging to walk into town. But for those who love walking it is perfect.

An incredible host who was so friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful with good facilities and breakfast set me up for the day! Beautiful town to walk around.

It‘s a cute house with a really friendly couple who hosts it. They were so helpful and made the best to feel myself at home 😊 for breakfast they had a huge variety of different food, way too much to eat it all 😊 great shooting spots of Val D‘Orcia are also close by and a very tasty restaurant is right beside the hotel. All in all I can highly recommend a stay at Antica Sosta.

The room is big, and parking is in front of the building. The owner is generous, kind and made us feel welcome. She also accept card. There were a few restaurants and cute shops. We managed to capture an amazing sunset near Palazzo Chigi Zondadari.
