I really liked the charm of the place, from the lift to the little outdoor patio to the décor in the room. Our host, Augustino was a gem! He always had fun stories to share and loved making everyone coffee! We were greeted with a big bowl of fresh fruit upon arrival and a cheerful hello! He was always there if we needed him, for directions, call a cab, dinner suggestions or good books to read. The location was convenient to the old town area and two markets are within a 1-2 minute walk. I would definitely recommend staying here, if it's available!!

The aircon in our room was via a machine and it was very loud. Not sure why this was - the inbuilt aircon may have been broken. But only there two nights and coped perfectly well!

Great location. Very helpful host. Lovely old building. Quirky, comfortable, clean. A proper B&B so commual breakfasts, with plenty of fresh coffee. Our host was knowledgeable about his city - helped with luggage and parking and gave suggestions for eateries. Bologna is lovely!

Excellent location, just a short walk from the Piazza Maggiore. Lovely trattoria around the corner. The host of the Residenza is so lovely and welcoming. A complimentary bottle of red wine greeted me on arrival, with water & even fresh fruit.

I liked everything.

The location is perfect - 300-400 m from Piazza Magiore in an amazing old building, the room (actually we had two rooms) is large, with big wardrobes, table, chairs, armchairs, air condition, big bathroom - everything perfectly clean. I want to thank our host - Mr. Agostino - he is a very kind, helpful, sophisticated man, it was a pleasure to have the chance to communicate with him.

A great room with an excellent host (Agostino) who made us feel very welcome and gave very good local insights. The room was large and the air-conditioning was very good and quiet. Although the room overlooked a main road the windows kept any noise to a minimum. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed meeting the other quests.

The location has Charme and soul, superbly suited for our city trip to Bologna. It is located very close to the old city center. Nice rooms with an own signature. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful, always having good advice our recommendations. We have stayed in many B6B around the world as we like the more private atmosphere. But this one is surely among the best we booked so far.

My wife and I travel Europe frequently. Our host Augustino was the most accommodating and gracious host we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He served delicious food and provided tasty recommendations on restaurants. He also helped with taxis and transfers. We watched as he helped us and other guests with command of numerous languages while being warm and attentive. The accommodations are steeped in history with charm and character not always accessible in the modern world. Lots of history and character. Augustino is a national treasure, as is his establishment.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Agostino is a lovely, hospitable and helpful host whose B&B is very comfortable and authentic. It is located a short walk from the city centre.

Agostino was a great host and was a wealth of information with things to see and do and helped us enormously. The breakfast was excellent and the location is great, only about a 5 minute walk to the central piazza. The rooms are full of charm and well appointed. Would definitely recommend this B and B. The other guests during our stay were all repeat and loyal customers and also spoke highly of Agostino and this accommodation. Hopefully we will return to Bologna in the future.

We really loved the location, it was very close to the city center. The accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The owner was very kind and friendly, and prepared us breakfast along with excellent coffee. Additionally, for New Year's Eve, he offered us champagne. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!

The appartments needs renovation and specialy the bathroom.Even the radiator was hoț ,it was too cold in the room for us.

The host was very helpful and waited for us to arrive and helped us to find a parking place.The breakfast was very good,it was enough food and the host payed attention at our demands.It is very close to the city center.

We had a wonderful stay here in Bologna! Agostino is a wonderful host, so kind and accommodating. It was no bother at all for us to leave our suitcases with him when our flight home was in the evening. I've never had such a generous host before and cannot recommend staying here highly enough.
