Pleasant view, very quiet, small village

Property bwas clean and nice. Good location, very quiet, nice view outside the window:) host was really nice and responsive, gave super clear instructions and recommendation how to navigate around and where to have food.

Just a bit of walks from parking to the building, need to leave big luggages in the car.

The apartment is filled with Italian farmhouse rustic charms. full shared kitchen well decorated, the building is newly renovated located in the small villages but short drive to ferry. The room is special with a bit of lake view. Highly recommended.

There was no door to the bathroom, which is not always ideal, even for a couple.

Beautiful view of Lake Como at an exceptional price! The stone house was beautiful and it was nice having a kitchen to cook in as we have some dietary restrictions. It was communicated very clearly that there were stone steps up to the house - beware!

was a bit of a hike to get to but not a problem as we knew that was the case before booking. wouldn’t recommend bringing a massive suitcase though!

beautiful, quiet spot away from the busy areas of lake como! the property had a kitchen which was really appreciated as well as nice rooms with beautiful views of the lake. the ferry port was about a 20 minute walk away. i recommend walking along the riverside walk towards lezzeno as there aren’t great pathways for pedestrians.

Of course the parking space is limited on lake como. Not so good for big cars (But this is totally normal). The other downside is that you have to carry all bags up the hill using tiny stairs which could be difficult if you are carrying a lot of stuff! Not the best bed i was sleeping in but totally fine!

Awesome experience to stay in this old house! It feels like sleeping in a museum without having to forego on internet etc. Also i like the public kitchen. But I was staying without any other guests so i did have it for myself. You have everything to cook, store food or even make coffee. Very nice is to mention that the appartement has own parking space for guests!

A couple of tiny things. A shower tray would have been useful. And an icecube tray for all the Aperol spritzes we drank :). But honestly, everything else was wonderful

The location is amazing, just off the main lakeside road, but very quiet. There aren't any lake views from the room itself, but they aren't far away. The place itself is very charming and rustic and feels like stepping back in time. But in a good way. And the bed was very comfortable

Unique rustic design of the house, very beautiful. Spacious shared dining area with kitchen, fireplace, table. Large bed in the room and a nice bathroom. A bit of a lake view. Good value for the price! Ilaria was very nice and helpful. Very happy with my stay at Antica Calvasino!

It’s a small thing, but the door didn’t feel locked even when locked - like you could push it open.

Nice old Italian vibe and we had a great view over the lake. There was a bus going, from the street a bit further down, taking you to Bellagio, which was easy and cheaper than taking the car.

There is no AC so it was vey hot in the room. (There was a fan but in 36 degree it was not enough to cool off the room) Its a short climb from the parking to the unit so it is something you need to consider.

Lezzeno is wuiet and beautiful town away from the crowded Ballaggio but close enough to enjoy jt too The antique vibe and spectacular views created a unique experience The host was very attentive for our needs

Some tea in the kitchen area would make it even more perfect

Antique place in a cosy little village. Some details are left from the old times, like the wooden doors and stone floor. We stayed for one night, good that you don't have to worry about the parking - there is a space. Some breakfast snacks were provided as an extra bonus :)

The house is located in the top of a hill that has many steps up about 10 or 15 minutes depending on how fast you go. The curtains in the bedroom are not wide enough, and light enters in the morning.

In our room there was no door for the bathroom, so not a lot of privacy, but that's nitpicking.

I loved the aesthetic of the house and how nice everything was. It had a real Italian feel and it made the trip that much better!

The host, Ilaria, was very helpful and flexible with all of our questions. The rooms were very tidy and the location was a beautiful authentic Italian village.

The house was beautiful but there is no bakery or cafe in walking distance, so make sure you you stop in an alimentary if you need coffee in the morning. Not recommendable for people with problems walking.

Beautifully restored house with a lot of historic details, it shows the hand of a designer who loved using authentic woods and stone. Located on the hills with a view over the lake. Very quiet. The next restaurant you can walk to is Grotta Mixta, which we can highly recommend. For anything else you need to drive. Bellagio is a short drive away though. Very lovely welcome by Illaria.

The place didn't feel very clean. The path to the property wasn't comfortable.

The location was good for a day trip in Bellagio. We were a couple in the big room for 4, it was big for us.

1. Room smells like urine! Bed is not comfortable and the room has 2 chairs, one of them is broken! 2. Bathroom literally inside the room, no door, not even a curtain. 3. Location is not good. For this price you can find much better options in much better locations. 4. Not allowed to use the washing machine, I had to hand wash all our clothes after coming back from the beach everyday and hung them inside the room on chairs and sleep with wet clothes in the room as there was not even a place to hang them. 5. No accessibility except through a long climb of steep stairs. It was ok, except going up with our luggage. We arrived by bus, host didn’t pick us up, some stranger was nice enough to drive us when I asked about directions. She was very surprised we were not picked up. 6. Last but most importantly host was extremely rude and impolite. First of all she sent a message 3 weeks after the booking was no longer refundable saying, and I’m quoting: “to avoid unpleasant discussions” and then listed all the inconveniences that we will face during the stay. I booked for 2 adults and couldn’t add the 6 years old child during the booking. Since this was my 4th hotel in Italy this trip, I kind of expected to find an arrangement with the host. When we were discussing that she was extremely rude, although I paid extra for the child by PayPal, she only provided towels for 2 people anyway, so it’s not like I cost her anything extra, but I paid right away. Yet during that discussion she shushed me, told me to “shut up” and called me names. She said she’ll call the police and tell them about my deceive! And when I asked her to please do she got scared and backed up! I talked to other owners and local residents in the area, apparently neither the hosts nor the place have a good reputation.
