How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only thing we didn’t like was the 3 flights of stairs up to the property.. haha! Specially after a long day and lots of walking.. luckily the beds were super comfy so made up for our tired legs! 🤣
Wonderful property, very clean, comfortable and loved the little touches like complimentary toothbrushes, razors and also there was a kettle and fridge which was handy with complimentary tea/coffee, water and biscuits. Would definitely stay again.. great location very central!

It should be noted that the rooms are a three floor walk up. We are older folks and had several suitcases.

As per the name of the house "amazing"....from the moment booking was confirmed, communication with Cristina was excellent. Easy to find.....slight warning...it's on the 3rd floor, so travel "light".... it was more than perfect for my overnight stay... not a problem for me, but, some road noise from the front room, however there seem to be rooms to the rear.... Room is large, comfortable, spotlessly clean.... lovely spacious ensuite bathroom (seemed newly furbished)....comfortable large bed....heating and aircon....wall TV....even a Lavazza coffee machine with two pods, a selection of tea bags (with kettle) and even some biscuits ......there is a fridge with two small bottles of mineral water..... what else can I say.....Centre of Florence...minutes from the station and everything else.....

It was an early check-out and no storage for luggage. It's on the third floor by stairs. Little noisy outside if you go on weekends.

Because we had 2 large suitcases and 2 carry on luggages, it was a struggle to climb 3 floors (70 steps). Something that prospective customers should be made aware of.
Lovely room with high ceiling and very tidy. Very nice bathroom. Very close to the train station and lots of food places nearby. Nicely decorated.

the pillows were huge but it wasn’t a big deal.
Very clean and comfortable. spacious room, brand new toilet facilities. Excellent location between the Train Station subterranean passage and the Cathedral (Duomo) and around the corner from very good restaurants. The owner is very patient and nice.

The AC was extremely loud, but you can’t leave it off because it gets too hot otherwise

Noise (they should invest in double glaze windows). You can hear everything from the street almost as if the windows were open. The air conditioner is very loud but functional.

The location was perfect. Very close to the train station, yet also in a great area to be able to walk to everything. The room was brand new and was quite large for hotels in Italy. We were there when it was quite warm and we were happy for the AC. The bed was very comfortable. We had no issue with noise at all. One note, when you are ready to check in, you have to call a number to be buzzed in and then the keys are waiting for you upstairs. It was very quick and easy, but it is good to know ahead of time. It is four flights up, which we already knew and was no problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.
