Location was everything right in the centre of the city Enables you to go back out in the evening to see sunset without a long walk restaurants and shops also on your doorstep amazing place even took our morning coffee out to wake up to the outstanding views this place is a true gem

This is a beautiful apartment in a wonderful town! It is in the perfect location to visit all of Matera. It is a relaxing space, comfortable and clean! Our family loved staying here and highly recommend it!

No complaints, great property!

Modern and clean apartments amongst the old town. Perfect location near the hustle and bustle but on a quiet street away from noise. Air conditioning was welcome in the heat of Summer and the facilities were clean and new.

Great location, just on edge of old town. Beware of ZTL zone if driving car. 15 min walk to duomo. 5 min walk to stassi (cave dwellings). I would stay here again.

Nothing I didnt like, but maybe the terrace could be better furnished its so big! There could be nice lounge chairs and/or a table and chairs on top of the couch.

Very minor point but an ice tray would have been good in fridge for cold drinks in the sun.

Really excellent location for sightseeing. Simple clean lines decor with everything needed for a short 3 night stay in Matera. Fantastic terrace perfect for breakfast and a relaxing drink after a long days sightseeing. Close to bars and restaurants and easy parking in Via XX Settembre is only a few minutes walk away.

Amatera Luxury Apartments (Azzuri) was fantastic. The apartment was clean and spacious and it also had a large balcony with a great view of the sassi area of town. The location was excellent, very close to the action around the centre of the old town but just outside the hustle & bustle. Nothing at all to dislike, and a lot to like 👍

The apartment was is a great location, only a stones throw to everywhere you would want to visit. It was new and spacious with a kitchenette with most of what you’d need to make yourself a meal. The apartment was actually quite dusty above the bed and ontop of the sofa. The blinds in the bedroom didn’t work so that was a little frustrating, but besides that it was a pleasant stay.

Although beautifully decorated the appartment could have been a bit more practically planned. We think the part of the appartment were the small sofa bed was situated could instead have been planned as a proper bedroom. The table was definitely too small for a family f five and the chairs wuite shaky. But nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much.

The appartment was very clean and comfortable and practically located just in the putskirts of the pedestrian area. Warm and kice even in the middle of the winter. I especially enjoyed the atmosephere.

Pedestrian noise comes into the apartment whose front door is located on a pedestrian street. You need to close the living room door before going to bed.

Bit dark, but as we were almost all the time out, not a problem.

Very close to the Sassi, all manageable by walking. Clean, newly renovated apartment with everything you need for a short stay in Matera. I would personally not recommend for a longer stay for 4 people as it is quite small and dark, so for me I would require more space for a longer stay. For 4 people for 2 days it was just perfect 👌🏻. The only problem we had was parking, so I would recommend to mention parking in the information for guests (maybe it was there and I didn’t find it). Ilaria is a great provider of the accommodation, she was very active in communication and settled everything right away. Many 🙏

Everything, the apartment was in a great location right in the middle of all restaurants, bars & sights. Loved that it was a whole apartment with a very large balcony to sit outside. Easy access (remote) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! I highly recommend it! Very quiet at night so you can have a restful sleep!

I will start that Amatera has the best possible location. Is very easy to park close to it and arrive at the apartment as it is in one of the entrances to Sassi. We had incredible views of Matera Duomo and Sassi from our terrace. The apartment was very spacious and with all the facilities that you could think of. Very clean and comfortable with a very nice design. The host were very helpful with tips and things to do in Matera and surroundings.

Couldn't quite work out the refuse collection schedule. The schedule in the apartment didn't seem to match the collections, but this was not a big problem as the bins were not full. We were just trying to be respectful as recycling is taken very seriously in the area.

Exceptional accommodation, on the doorstep of the Sassi, in a pedestrian only area therefore nice and quiet. Minutes away are Piazza San Giovanni and Piazza Vittorio Veneto, with good selection of bars and restaurants. Large, comfortable apartment with a terrace with wonderful view over the Sassi. The terrace is provided with sofas, table and umbrella. The beds are large and extremely comfortable. There is a well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and a good size fridge. Dishes and cutlery are provided, as well as cleaning products. We had a couple of small issues which were sorted out by the host swiftly and profesionally.

Difficult for parking but manageable.

Perfect location, super nice apartment, clean, modern, comfortable, big with a super balcony with a view to Sassy. Easy check in and check out. In the heart of Matera a few meteres from Sassi Matera we can do everything by foot. We recommend fully!

It has no view. It was probabaly my mistake that I was not aware that the room we orderes had NO view. The whole point of Matera is the view and once yor room does not have one, it is a big mistake.
