I loved the place and the location. The room is centrally located in Corniglia with beautiful walks around the village. The apartment entrance/exit is right by the steps down to the train station, which is really convenient. It is about 300 steps down to the station. We arrived by car and the host also provided us with a parking space within a short walking distance. It is generally not recommended to drive into the village by car as the roads are small and windy and generally only have room for one vehicle with traffic going both ways. So, avoid driving if you can, but we loved the fact that were provided with a parking space. The host was amazing. The room was very clean with a nice little balcony with gorgeous views of the ocean and nearby village. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Amare Il Mare is more than a charming, comfortable, room with an amazing view of the sea. It is an inspired concept - a dream that Cinzia, the proprietor conceptualised and runs extremely well. It is centrally located - near the bus stop to the Corniglia train station, the restaurants like Cecio and Bakery, the village, and the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. I really appreciate the super clean room and bathroom. Cinzia thought about what a guest would need such as a working air-conditioner, a small refrigerator, a working water heater (that is easy to operate), an easy-to-use clothes steamer, a small safe, and coffee/chocolate maker. The room also comes with a thoughtful toiletry kit, bedroom slippers, tapis for the beach, wine with glasses for toasting, naturale and frizzante water, cornetto and other snacks. This property has a lot of amenities sometimes better than a 5-star hotel. I mean, the bathroom even has Chormotherapy lights. Cinzia and husband, Roberto even picked us from and to the train station which is really thoughtful. Thank you for the lovely stay! We hope we can return again to this property.

Wow!! We had the most amazing time at Amare Il Mare. Cinzia and her family are such kind and wonderful hosts. The room is beautiful with lots of added extra touches that made our stay perfect and the view from the terrace is stunning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Cinzia. You really go out of your way to make your guests feel special and we really appreciated everything. We stayed in the starfish room and the bed and pillows were amazing. I slept better than at home! There is everything you need in the small kitchen to make breakfast and even simple dinners. We loved Corniglia so much. It is quieter than the other villages in Cinque Terre and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend anyone to book with Cinzia and stay here! Thank you!

Wonderful location, room was comfortable and very clean. The private terrace with a spectacular view is the main attraction. The host is super friendly and helpful. I let her know it was my wife's birthday and they prepared a wonderful surprise with balloons and a bottle of prosecco. Highly recommended.

In extreme hot weather, the beautiful deck outside the suite was almost unusable because of all the hot air from the air conditioning unit.

Small room, but very clean and comfortable. Bright and airy, with a view of the water. Good AC and plenty of hot water for the shower. Lots of conveniences too, like a mini fridge, coffee, and snacks. Our host also picked us up at the train station, which was much appreciated.

Corniglia is the best base from which to explore the Cinqua Terra - right in the middle. The apartment is close to the train station and a very short walking distance for the village center. The kids found the barrel-like design of the room cool.

We stopped for one night on a through hike in Cinque Terre. Quiza is an amazing host. She made it easy to find her and check in. She was responsive and willing to accommodate our changing schedule. She thought of all the details a traveler may need from providing an adaptor, to a welcome gift including wine, water, pizza snacks and breakfast items - this host went above and beyond expectations. The room was small, but provided a lot of amenities. This was a most comfortable bed and the view from the balcony in the Stone Room was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

For older people - there are stairs up to the apartment - it is a little cramped and you have to access the kitchen by going outside which is a little challenging in winter or in the rain.

The host Cynzia was extremely kind and helpful - picking us up and dropping us off and helping with all our bags to and from the station. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the view is spectacular.

I liked the industrial design of the room, which had plenty of hooks. The room is tiny, but the owner placed everything you need in it tastefully. Communication with the owner was OK. We enjoyed ourselves there.
