The location is spot on only a few minutes walk to everywhere yet just tucked away so it's quiet. Amazing places to eat within 50 meters. The place is set up really well, with lots of thought and has a real jazz loft apartment.

Nothing really but some may find the stairs up to the apartment and the stairs to the loft bedroom a bit difficult. And while the bathroom overall was new and fresh the shower cubicle could do with improvement.

A spacious clean nicely furnished apartment in a great central location. All main sites and many bars and restaurants were within a 5 to 10 min walk. And only a 20min walk from Palermo central train station and a 30min walk to the ferry terminal. We were able to store our bags while the apartment was being cleaned and offered an early check in after that, which was much appreciated. Great communication and photos to help us find the accommodation. We would definitely stay again in this well equipped apartment.

All was perfect.

It' s a well equipped flat, arranged comfortably and with attention to every detail. A beautiful, modern bathroom and essential kitchen. The flat gives the feeling of safety as the building is located in a closed courtyard, what also makes it quiet. Moreover, the location is in the the heart of the Old Town, with easy access to the Railway and Bus Station (15min walk).

The apartment is nestled in between several ther buildings and can be a little difficult to find. Once there, it was easy.

It was hard to find initially. I also did not feel very safe walking back to thr apartment as a solo woman after dinner. For these reasons I would nor stay again.

We received instructions on how to access the apartment only a few hours before arrival which meant we had to scramble together copies of our passports to send to the host whilst travelling. Finding the apartment was confusing. There was no sign to confirm that Almafitani House apartment was in the building. The instructions to get to the apartment from the main door could have been clearer as it just stated to ascend the stairs - there were 2 sets of stairs. It would have been nice to see our host on arrival to help getting around these issues.

The location was great. It was in a lovely, quiet square but close to restaurants and bars. The apartment was really well equipped and furnished. Plenty of sockets for charging phones,etc. Everything worked well. It was easy to leave early in the morning by just leaving the keys behind. The host left water for us free of charge.

Had to be slightly carefully going up and down the stairs to the bed as it felt a bit dodgy. But nothing major.

The perfect weekend in Palermo! The host was very kind, helpful, gave us great tips on places to go and accommodated for our late check in and check out. The location is perfect. Very central and very close to airport transport. The flat is very homey, cozy and most importantly it was very clean. They provided all basic needs for the stay including two bottles of water, shampoo, towels etc.

There are some bars nearby - a few streets over - and the noise lingered into the early hours of a Friday night. No fault of the property but you might want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Perfect location - close to everything but not too noisy. Coffee, water, Prosecco - what more could we ask for. There was a problem with the hot water at first but Adriana fixed it immediately.

It was somewhat difficult to find the place, and then the apartment in the building. The windows essentially do not overlook any open space (only an internal, enclosed space of an internal courtyard).

The apartment was spotlessly clean. No issues here. A very spacious place, with all the facilities necessary.

It can take a while for the air conditioner to cool the loft/bed area and the A/C is a little noisy.

Good use of space in the apartment. Nice to be able to spread out instead of being crammed in a hotel room. Bathroom nice size, good countertop area. Shower floor a little slippery. Bedroom is a loft upstairs, nice closet organizer area with a few hangers. Kitchen has a kettle (we made tea every morning and night) and fridge (there was a bottle of water already inside) and also a coffee maker (we didn't use). There is also an iron/board that worked very well for us. Air conditioner kept the place pretty cool. Larger sofa was nice - also a TV, but we didn't use it.

The building is currently under renovation (March 2023). There was a lot of construction noise from the central courtyard beginning at 7:30am.

A beautiful apartment right in the middle of Palermo, close to stops for the local and airport buses and close to prime locations such as Capo market and Via Maqueda. It’s well appointed and modern with everything you need.

Great location, close to everything (sightseeing, shopping, airport bus) and dozens of dining options nearby. The apartment is really nice, airy, modern, furnished with taste. Huge tv and great Wi-Fi. Kitchen is basic but functional. The host was exceptional, such a nice lady, she gave us lots of suggestions.
