My credit card had flagged it as a scam and that concerned me, but this was an error. It turned out great and I’m glad we proceeded with it.

The breakfast was far beyond my expectations for Europe, the dining area on the roof was amazing and felt secluded even though you’re relatively close to the Main Street. The staff was very kind and I could tell (as I had read other negative reviews from prior to this) that they were making an obvious effort to address what they could (ex: the send me a text before arriving with literally all the information that previous reviews had named as things they wished they knew beforehand). The rooms were clean and what I think was likely big for the area. Yes lots of stairs on the way up, but that’s what you should expect in a town on a cliff - I suggest a travel backpack or use the porter system at the terminali.

The internet in the room wasn’t very reliable, and the bathroom drain was a bit problematic as it was blocked. However, the staff responded quickly and resolved the issue right away. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to climb about 90 steps to reach the hotel, which can be a bit intimidating.

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was quite satisfying. The room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view.

I loved everything. I would suggest putting the stairs apart of the booking so people know it’s about 90-100 stairs to come up, and maybe give some alternative ways to get there. There are multiple alley ways and avenues to come up/down, some with less stairs. Overall great stay though

The price was higher than other properties we visited during our trip through Italy, but it is more about the location in general than property itself. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special.

We enjoyed our short stay in Amalfi and the property was great, very clean. Based on the reviews we were a little worried about the location as some people suggested long walk and stairs, however, it was not that bad at all and was close to the center of Amalfi (granted we had only backpacks, so I would understand it to be more difficult for people with more luggage or some kind of disability). Also we absolutely loved the terrace that is open during whole day and where breakfast is being served.

We stayed in the king room, comfortable bed, spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Fridge in room. Large balcony area with table and chairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace between 8-9.30 was a nice way to start the day. Would return and recommend this place

Nothing we didn't like, but due to the location of the Amalfi Luxury House we had to arrange for two porters to drive us from the Piazza and then carry our luggage bags up all the pathways and steps to the reception area...We required this assistance due to our age and the weight of our bags, more younger guests may not need porters. It may be prudent to mention the location being up many steps.. We would happily return and stay at Amalfi Luxury House.

If you have a big suitcase - it might not be practical because of the stairs. Make sure you check the video, sent by the manager how to get to the accommodation- at first we got lost but when we looked at the video - it was much easier and not that tiring.

Beautiful, beautiful accommodation! Very, very clean. Everything is new and looking nice. The bed and the cushions were very comfortable. Quiet. Waking up with birds singing. Nice breakfast at the open terrace. We really loved it here.

Amalfi Luxury House was fantastic! What a beautiful hidden little gem. The room was gorgeous and always spotless, with a balcony with the most beautiful view - down to the sea, across the town and up at the mountains. The location was peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything. The staff, Renata and Maria Gracia were fantastic and so warm and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic - so much delicious food! And served under the sun on the rooftop terrace or on our balcony. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends and family :)
