How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The lift is a little slow. Room was a little dated. Could do with an update.
Close to Roma Termini, reasonably priced. Staff were nice. Lots of food options nearby. Would I stay here again? Definitely!

The room looks old style, bed cover and curtain, the beds mattras not so comfortable but clean. Glad there is a lift but its very slow. Over all acceptable
Grazie mille per Mr. Shakil, he gave us a free bonus breakfast for my family. He is such a nice and friendly person. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk to station rome termini and 20mins to colloseum. We also can drop off our luggage after checkout till afternoon for free.Very worth it for the prize.

The location is great, all the main attractions are 15-30 minutes away, the staff are super friendly - Frencesco was super helpful and had great tips about the city, rooms are generally clean but may be some improvements can be done in that point.

No kettle in the room for making drinks (they may have supplied one if we asked) and no instructions for using the safe.
The rooms were basic but clean. A perfect location for a base for us to walk around Rome and enjoy all its wonders.

Fabulous location. Five min walk to Termini Station. Ten min walk to Colosseum. If your intent is to see Rome in a day and stay close to the centre, its perfect. Bed is comfortable. Functional room. Dont expect luxury. Loved the tiny balcony!That was a surprise.

Unpleasant smell in the bathroom from the sewer sometimes

Receptionist was very helpful and their 24hour reception desk was useful. Room was small but comfy enough and had a fridge. Location is 15/20 mins walking from the centre but only a few from the train station which worked perfectly for us.

The air conditioner was turned off. They didn’t want to give us the remote. The heater was too high. The fan was not working properly. They said that it’s winter that’s why they don’t provide air conditioners. When I booked it was mentioned that room is air conditioned. The room was too warm. We had to open the window whole night.
The location was good. It’s near to Rome termini.

The hot water would go in and hot, so my husband and I inevitably had to take cold showers.
The location was the star of this hotel—less than a 5-minute walk from the metro and train station. The staff was very hospitable, even after check out, we were able to leave our bags so we would not have to haul them around while we waited for our train (which a 6 hour wait).

Difficult to communicate with reception unless you come to the reception. The breakfast was not impressive
Staff was good and hospitable. The location was fantastic for me and my spouse. Shakil was nicest of the receptionist

The breakfast was awful. The room was not very cool, as the fan and air conditioning were very slow.
The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I should mention especially JK, an Indian and Bangladeshi staff member, Shakil. The property was clean.

bed sheet is not as clean as expected, limited space between toilet and shower door, hot shower water runs out quickly
