The bathroom in the Jr. Suite is a quite small, but functional. For us it was a non-factor, as the very spacious suite and great views more than compensate.

An exceptional boutique hotel located directly on the Grand Canal! The on sight owner (Mateo) and his staff are phenomenal. Accommodating every request... and offering spot-on recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, travel arrangements, etc. A small terrace overlooking the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal is a truly special place for the excellent breakfast included each morning. If possible, arrive via a water taxi directly from Marco Polo airport to the hotel's private dock on the Grand Canal. Mateo was on the dock to welcome us personally, and gave us a brief tour and history of his property. Personal touches like this continued throughout our stay... and made it special, almost like your part of the family. We booked the Junior Suite with a water level view directly on the Grand Canal. A very large double window can be opened and offers an incredible view of passing gondolas, the Rialto Bridge and the everyday boat traffic. I'd be surprised if there is another hotel room that offers such an intimate view of daily life on the Grand Canal... we literally spent hours here, relaxing and drinking it all in.

This place is beyond your wildest dreams. Obviously, the location is unbeatable, but the real gem of this place is the care of the team. I've stayed in some nice places, but I've never been better welcomed than by Gigi, Matteo and Mini. They really go the extra mile to make this place feel like a dream. Their kindness and attention to detail is the reason why I will keep coming back.

It was like in a movie, everything was perfect. The staff knows you by name (even when they change shifts), the owner takes care of you and even carries your suitcases. He also cooks the best scrambled eggs I've had for years. His wife is charming, caring and friendly. If possible, I would like to go there every year!

I have no words to describe what it was staying here. This simply has to be in the top 3 best stays of my life. The hotel is something right out of a fairy tale. Venice is an incredible place and this hotel was just as charming as the city itself. I almost didn't want to leave the room or the hotel, It was a vacation in itself. Waking up to breakfast was the highlight of our day. Matteo and all of the staff at the hotel treat you like you are the only one there, a very personalized touch. The view is absolutely priceless. I am not sure of many hotels where the Rialto can be seen from breakfast OR your room so close. All in all, this is really one of those wonders that you have to see to believe and is a must stay for everyone.

Owned by a couple matteo and barbara.. love their friendliness and the delicious eggs prepared by matteo and the handmade pastries by barbara... the staff knows all the guests by names... only 9 rooms available at this quaint venetian hotel. Location is perfect and 2 mins away from the Rialto bridge. Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel. Lovely views from the terrace .

My room was dark but we got used to it. It was large and everything was adequate. The decor was pretty. The bed a bit too hard. We had everything we needed.

I loved coming home at night and sit on the terasse with a full view of the Rialto bridge and all the gondolas and boats on the River Grande. In the morning, to have breakfast on that same terasse, the most abundant lovely breakfast. Finally, both the owners and the people who worked there were all extraordinary. I will definitely wish to return, I was so sad to leave...

Nothing, Venice is a very busy and touristy city so where you stay will greatly impact how much you like the city, so do yourself a favour and stay here!

Chose this hotel from the many others in Venice based on the incredible reviews and yet we were still blown away by the service. All the staff so friendly, greet guests by name, nothing is too much trouble, made reservations for us, happy to give tips and a history lesson whilst making the best spritz's in town! The terrace and view is incredible, found ourselves marvelling in it every breakfast, afternoon drink and post dinner night cap, such. an escape from the busy alley ways to watch the daily activity on the grand canal. The breakfast is lovely with homemade pastries from the hotel owner and freshly cooked eggs. Room was spacious, comfortable, dark and quiet, and the bathroom lovely with a good shower. Already planning our return trip.

The views, staff, breakfast, terrace. The staff provides exceptional recommendations for food and sights to see and are super helpful. Breakfast was delicious and by far our favorite of the trip. Everyone was more than helpful and their whole staff was super friendly and welcoming. The terrace had phenomenal views over the canal and was never crowded.

I couldnt believe the comments until i see. By far, the best hotel i've ever stayed after 10 years of travel to more than 15 countries in Europe and US. Second time in venice, but it was something different. Best people you may know, an antique well designed hotel with pure love in every details. Kindest and lovliest. You feel like you are in a fantasy atmosphere with delicious breakfast and 24hr bar at ur service. Thanks to Barbara, Matteo, Bruno, Gigi, Alex, Oliver and Thomas. We will be back soon

The whole experience, with Matteo and Barbara and their colleagues Alex Louise and Thomas, was exceptional. The location is perfect, the breakfast was lovely and all the staff are so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We have found a gem in Venice and will definitely go back and recommend family and friends. The view from the terrace is the best in Venice!
