The breakfast was not what I expected and it smelled a bit like someone smoked inside before

The location is perfect. We found milk, juice and water in the fridge , which was nice, but may be because it was bed and breakfast. I wouldn't name it breakfast as there was a bow of cakes, packed croissants and biscuits which I guess were named breakfast. The place is nice, the beds are comfortable. The coffee machine makes very good coffee

The bed and pillows were the most comfortable of any stay I have had in Italy! The AC keeps the space perfectly cool, making returning to the room refreshing. It was also perfectly central in Bari Vecchia.

Fantastic location in a little alleyway in the old town. Comfortable bed and facilities to make food yourself if you wanted (hob, fridge, pans etc) Great, quick communication from the friendly owner. Would definitely stay again.

The location is fantastic. You are in the heart of the old town, but there are no noises at night, so you sleep well. The host is very kind. Everything is clean and tidy. The neighbors are kind as well.

For a family of five, the 'apartment' was very small. The couch was turned into a bed (in addition to the bunk bed and the double bed), so there was hardly any room left to put the luggage, and we could barely move. The bathroom is also tiny. Disappointingly, the 'included breakfast' consisted of packed brioche only. There was no fruit, juice, or joghurt, so we chose to go to a pasticceria instead. Upon arrival, we received a code to open a box with the house key; this had not been communicated before. The code was sent via whatsapp but we didn't have internet and didn't see it at first, so we stood in front of door not knowing how to get in; so we had to send a text message to say we had arrived. The code could have been sent earlier or the night before to make it easier for us.

The location was great, albeit a bit hard to find (it would have helped if we had received detailed information on how to get there). A lot of good restaurants are nearby and you can explore most of the city by foot. We even walked with the kids to the city beach. The room was nicely furbished, very clean, smelled fresh and was quiet at night time.

The glass door on the bathroom. Need for more electrical outlets (the host brought us a power strip the second day so that was easily resolved).

We liked everything 😁

This little apartment was the perfect size, location, and price for my family. It was very convenient to access by taxi from the airport, and while walking around old town. Our stay here kept us cool, comfortable, and connected with strong air conditioning and internet. We were very thankful for bottled water in the refrigerator to welcome us after our long journey, as well as milk and snacks that we didn't use. Check in and communication were excellent as well. We hope to come stay here again someday!

The appartment is perfect to experience Bari Vecchia (the old town). It is only a few meters away from the famous Basilica San Nicola, the waterfront and you can really feel the pulse of Bari. During the day, it is full of people (summer), but it is not loud at all during the night. The appartment is very well equipped (e.g. coffee machine) and the owners were very flexible with our early check-in and check-out. The offered breakfast is not needed, because you have so many possibilities to sit outside, drink a coffee and have a cornetto, but this is only a personal view. Anyway, if you like Bari Vecchia, than you will like the appartment and the superb location. As a bonus: If you can speak Italian, you will have the chance to chat with the neighbours as well :)

The shower is small and the breakfast is bad. Sweet pastries wrapped in plastic that "retains freshness" and jam packaging are not considered "breakfast"

The location was absolutely perfect, kitchen was well equipped and the owner was always very responsive and helpful.

A really rude guy knocked loud at our door at 10 am. No ‘buongiorno’; just a very rude shouting attitude saying that we had to leave the property because the next guests would arrive. And he repeated the same thing at 10:30 (check out scheduled for 11). Kids were scared and we felt really bad that morning. Breakfast is not a breakfast - they leave a canned juice, milk and some bread in the room. It would be better just to say there’s no breakfast, and leave the food treats as a compliment.

It is indeed a kind of a kitinete hiden in a charming alley. Spacious. There is no “front desk” but an awesome host called Alessandra shows up quick, replies promptly and made our stay very nice.
