It’s a street-level apartment, so there aren’t any views—but that’s not really an issue. We spent most of inour time out and about, soaking in the beautiful scenery of Como instead.

Check-in was seamless and well communicated. The apartment is superbly located, and the host took the time to explain the area thoroughly, which was very helpful. The space itself is beautifully and thoughtfully curated—every detail considered to make us feel completely at home. It blends modern comfort with elegant Italian charm. We had a wonderfully comfortable start to our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Como.

The weather was great — sunny all day with temperatures up to 28°C. However, the apartment felt a bit cold, especially the floor, which was quite chilly. We had to wear socks or shoes indoors. If you’re used to walking barefoot at home, I recommend bringing indoor slippers. But the host did his best and explained that Italy has regulations regarding heating systems. We understood and even agreed with it. Also the host kindly changed the blankets, so from the second night on, we were able to sleep comfortably without feeling cold.

The host kindly answered all our questions — from how to get to the apartment to nearby restaurants. Thanks to his helpful guidance, we had a truly comfortable and stress-free trip. The area has great infrastructure, with plenty of places to eat. We especially loved the bakery recommended by the host — we ended up going there every day! The apartment is very cozy and fully equipped. It felt like a real home for two — perfect for us. We enjoyed our long weekend and felt completely at home. All the provided coffee, snacks, and drinks were thoughtfully prepared as a breakfast. The location is very close to the public bus station and within walking distance to Cernobbio port, where boats to Como run regularly. This apartment offers one of the most reasonable prices in the Lake Como area. If you usually value smart, budget-conscious choices, I highly recommend it. We were far more satisfied than expected for the price we paid. Como, Bellagio area — all of them were beautiful, but also extremely crowded. That’s why we loved coming back to Cernobbio to relax and unwind.

Incredibly clean, very friendly staff, excellent location. We stayed for the Villa Erba/d’este car show and we couldn’t have been closer to the entrance. A 1 minute walk. Coffee was provided as well as cakes and other snacks. Lovely outdoor seating area. Also very close to the lake. Also comes with all the kitchen utensils you could think of.

everything. the property is extremely clean and very well organised. It’s really hard to find such accommodations.. Location is perfect, just few kms away from the chaos of Como (but very well connected by bus- frequent & 1 min walk from the apartment) , close to the lake view (serene). recommend (10/10) Host is lovely. he gave us great recommendations throughout our trip (even sent a detailed description before the checkin)

Best ever apartment we have ever stayed in. Beautiful, big, clean and fully equipped. The location is perfect. Less than a minute for the traghetto. The host was wonderful, he greeted us and helped explain our options for our visit. He also left too much fruit, ceteals and drinks for just two days.😁 Exceptional. We fully reccommend this beautiful property

Nothing to dislike.

Our wonderful host prepared the appartment to a very high standard, with every possible modern convenience. It was immaculately clean and the shower was always hot. The decoration was very stylish. Breakfast provided was simple and plentiful (mostly pastries and toast), with coffee and tea. The location was very convenient for both the ferries and the buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Alice's Apartment.

Bed a bit hard but not a big problem!

Spotlessly clean, had everything we needed. Lovely little outdoor seating area. Excellent location for traveling around - we were travelling without a car and so it was great to be near the ferry at Cernobbio and near to bus stop. Very good communication with host before we arrived and he welcomed us all as arranged, with lots of helpful advice about places to visit.

My only one complaint would be the automatic air freshener in the bathroom. It would go off every 20-30 minutes, and fill the whole apartment with a strong perfume smell, which was quite intense. You really need to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid having the scent fill in the whole apartment. I hope the owners will remove it entirely, and just leave an air freshener spray can in the bathroom if someone really wants to use it.
