How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Area around location was not what I expected but was not bad.
The staff was very friendly and able to guide me around when I was quite lost. Room was quiet at night time which helped with jet lag.

Worn-out mattress
Good location near bus or tram stop which can take you to the venice. Also very good restaurants near by. Hotel personal was very kind and helpful

The vanity set didn’t include the q-tips and cotton pads, this was the only issue, since I don’t usually bring them with me
The rooms were clean. The personnel was very respectful and helpful. Great location, very close to the train and bus stations. You can get from the train station to the hotel by a 20-30 minute walk

No water kettle in rooms for a morning coffee/tea. A thicker or extra pillow would have been great.
Great transport links to Mestre and to the islands and Venice. Our top floor room was quiet and clean. Breakfast is nice, keeps you going till lunchtime.

Problems with parking spot,expensive fees for breakfast it should have been somehow included in the price and complete price ti be increased for 15% maybe but with breakfast included. The AC is not properly functioning in every room. The mattresses were hard a bit

The location was a bit too far from the main attractions, although there are plenty of bus and tram stops nearby. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience as there was a public transport strike in Italy during our stay, which made getting around difficult. Also, the breakfast was not as good as expected for the price charged – it felt quite basic.
The room was clean and met all the expected standards for this type of hotel. Very helpful hotel staff.

Larger shower and balcony but both were adequate for our stay of 6 days.
Everything was great, comfy bed and bedding, breakfast was nice, staff were very helpful and the location and parking were good. Bathroom was clean but the shower was a little small.

The cleaning staff threw away the hotel toiletries that were in use but not finished. Same happened with the paper cups. A shame they were not restocked.
It’s quite convenient to stay here instead of the island. It’s also great that they cover the extra ticket you need to get to enter Venice. Room was comfortable.

The only downside was the size of our assigned room… 306…. too small for a 4* hotel wannabe.
Very clean, perfect location for visiting Venice, very close to T1 tram to Venice and a bus station to Mestre FS. Good tasy breakfast.

Lobby decor is peculiar. The rooms/hallways are very simple and modern but the lobby is traditional and a little strange.
Incredibly convenient to Venice with the ease of being outside. Saw so many people dragging luggage inside Venice which is misery. We pulled right up to hotel door to unload car. Very close to gas station, parking and garage parking. Excellent breakfast. Nice lobby bar, simple and sufficient. Easy for delivery drivers to bring food. Maybe the BEST shower/water pressure in all of Italy.

The rooms are so close that we were hearing people from the next rooms the wifi is not so good the breakfast could be much better
the location was good and the tram was so close , 10mins away from Venice by tram the room was clean, we had a problem with the AC but they fixed it within minutes

20min by foot to Mestre center, bed is a bit uncomfortable, window didn’t open, and the biggest minus is that they advertise on booking that they have free parking but it is only cca. 10 spots and if those are not free you need to park in the hotel garage which they charge 15€/day. Mind you there are a lot more than 10 rooms in the hotel, so we ended up paying for the first day, and it would be perfectly fine if they were transparent about it before one made a ”no refund” reservation.
Location is good, easy access to Venice with a direct tram line, room was sufficiently big, clean, towels changed every day.
