It is way up the mountain, which is great for views, but make sure to have transportation ready. We rented Vespas. Live like the Italians!

Water pressure in the shower is weak. The pillows are just too thin. You need a car to stay here, unless you taxi…

The view from our lake view room was just mind blowing. I sat there on the balcony for a while… the staff is super nice, the parking great, breakfast excellent. I’ll be back.

Walking from the bus stop to the hotel with luggage is terrible - hire a taxi or ask owner for a lift.

Well appointed very clean room with a large bathroom. Lake view from balcony was amazing, really amazing. We spent hours on the terrace watching boats on the lake while drinking cappuccinos. The owner went out of their way to assist with transport to surroundings. Hotel restaurant food was authentic and delicious, and they catered for allergies. Breakfast had a wide selection and eggs-your-way to order.

Very nice hotel, were there at the end of August 2024, main reason why we choose it was pool with great view on lake, but when we arrived to hotel, we were supprised with location, beautiful garden and place itself. We felt like we were in our own Villa and not in a hotel, it was very cool to rest near pool. The hotel has its own underground parking, thanks to which the car did not heat up in the sun and the hotel area looked neater. Wonderful friendly staff, a beautiful room with its own entrance to the garden, where you could put up sunbeds and relax while admiring the beauty of the lake. In the morning there was a wonderful breakfast on the terrace of the main restaurant. Unfortunately, we were only in this hotel for one night, but we will remember it for the rest of our lives.

Beautiful location, perfect to chill out by the pool then stay for a brilliant evening meal on the scenic terrace as the sun sets. Made to feel very welcome at this family run hotel.

The view was absolutely stunning; an amazing overview of lake como, and was away from busy areas giving a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The owner was so accommodating and was able to give us taxi numbers and even gave us a lift down to Tremezzo. Would definitely recommend!

Great hotel with a view!

Breakfast was the same every day. I would have expected a wider choice of cheese, more vegetables. The kitchen assistant serving breakfast seemed grumpy when we asked for coffee cups and we did not realise there were on our table. The next day she took salt from our table without asking if we have finished and gave it to the quests sitting behind us. It made us uncomfortable to ask for scrambled eggs the next morning.

The hotel's location is a 20 mnoute walk to the ferry station in the town centre. It is worth seeing Villa Carlota. There is a lovely garden where we had our breakfast with stunning views on the lake. The owners are kind and helpful.

10x better view than the famous Grand Tremezzo Hotel down below. Traditional welcoming countryside hospitality at its best. They've been around for 6 decades, they pay attention to the details. The rooms were extremely clean, and the lake view room was worth every cent. The private balcony in room 27 was breath taking. Really felt like you were outside of this world. I would return in a heart beat. Highly recommend a romantic meal at the restaurant, highly quality local cuisine and great breakfast with the best view in the world. Please travel with a car to here, the 1.5km trek up from tremezzo ferry is steep and the cobble stones on walk path can be treacherous. We did it with no lugguage. If you have more than a back pack, you will struggle. Beds are traditional and hard, if you have arthritis be aware.

It is quite a walk up from the ferry stop to the hotel if you decide to do so. The Hotel is willing to pick you up though!
