The room was super comfortable and the staff was so friendly. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. The town was really charming, and the driven distance from Nesso was also good. I would highly recommeded :)

The road to get there is a bit narrow in some places. But the part from the lake to the mountain is not busy, we passed maybe around 5 cars in one trip. Once you pass the road 1-2 times you will feel much more comfortable.

Nature is great. Very nice view from the village to the lake. The temperature is much lower than down next to the lake, so in the summer you can sleep nice without airco. Breakfast was good, with few options. We also had dinner there a few times and it was nice. The staff was also nice.

Narrow, steep and curvy road leads to the village from the lake.

It’s in the mountains with nice surroundings and has a restaurant and free parking. Ok location if you want to go around the area.

It was quite noisy at night time and as there was no Air conditioning we needed to keep the windows open.

We stayed for lunch and for dinner, both times it took quite some time before we were attended, as if we were not existing. But after we had ordered the drinks and food were relatively fast. Felt a bit awkward though.

This place is way up the hill from Nesso, and takes quite some time to arrive at. The reason to stay here should not be to go to the lake, but instead, to visit the mountains. Place is clean, has beautiful terraces, great food and friendly personnel.

It is quite remote so to get there you have to climb up the mountains for 7 km, which is not so fine if you arrive after darkness.

To get there is a climb but the silence is great no noisy roads and the people are great there. The food they serve is great and the staff is very friendly.

Make sure you’re confident with driving mountain roads as it takes a bit of skills to reach the hotel.

We had to ask the hotel staff to stop smoking outside under our window. The smoke rises up and passes through the windows into the rooms.

You have to take into consideration that it is quite a car ride up to Zelbio.

The room and bathroom was huge and spotless. Keeping in mind this is a 2 star hotel, the facilities were great. If you are looking to avoid the huge crowds of the lake and spend a a couple of nights in a pretty and quiet village up the mountains, this is a great choice. Bonus that the family has a great pizza restaurant downstairs. We had to leave before breakfast time to beat the traffic, but the owner still came to make us a coffee and give us snacks and water for the road.

Bed was too soft for us but that is quite usual in Italy.

Lovely view from the terrace in from of the room. Room and bathroom were spacious and nice. Location was great for getting away from the summer heat of lake Como below. Restaurant in the hotel makes delicious food. Breakfast was alright. Parking is possible at the parking lot that next to the hotel. Personnel were also nice and helpful.

The hotel has no rules for quiet time.There were party/ loud nouses which continued late after midnight.We stayed 2 nights and were not able to rest.Very upsetting when you were on holiday and not able to rest.
