The Ac was very ancient and very week. The worst thing was the cleaning services. We stayed for 3 days and they never changed the sheets or towels. We also requested a double bed but ended up with 2 single beds brought next to each other and only connected by the sheets. We literally fell into the space in between as they moved when we were asleep.

The location is superb, next to the train station and to the replacement busses for trains. 10~15 min walk to the restaurants, shops, the lake and to the ferry. The staff were nice and helpful.

A room was a bit dirty, the towels and tea cups were also dirty. I think they need to do a basic renovation so it feels fresh. Right now it’s obvious everything is very old. The bathroom was especially dirty.

Room wasn’t clean . Air conditioner was leaking water on the floor … we reported it to the male manager . Nothing happened . We had to turn air conditioner off , to prevent more water leaking everywhere

It is quite outdated, while some hotels have a nice charm of "old-school style" , this room clearly is left without any updates or refurbishments. Breakfast is very very basic. Room had old heating, so it was quite chilly without the possibility to warm up. Windows are allowing cold air to come in as well, not very well insolated. In summary - price completely not worth the quality of accommodation.

Location is good, room size is ok, we found easily where to park a car.

A family room for 4 people is the same size as a triple room. The stay there was really tight. The furniture was outdated. It could be updated in case to make the place cozier. Each room has very hard pillows and of course the street noise wakes you up.

A very good place if you plan to travel by trains, because the station is reached in 2 min. on foot. The staff was helpful and polite. If you come to Mandello del Lario by car, you will be provided with a parking slots in the garage (extra paid service).

What seemed to be a charming old fashioned family run hotel by the Booking pictures, turned out to be only old and not charming at all. The cover of the old AC was broken, made the thick dust visible inside. The whole site is worn out, as not having any investment for decades. Furnitures are jarring, stains on the wall an in the bathroom, so despite cleanliness it felt durty. Electricity was on and off all day that affected the AC which did not cooled the room anyway. For a good night sleep we tried to open the window because room was extremely hot but it was too noisy outside,. The reservation said the room comes with a terrace, but we were acommodated to one without terrace.

Location is excellent, Shops, good restaurants and the beach is very close. The staff is friendly.

The property is more a restaurant and bar with a few rooms. The rooms are are large, basic and dated but offer good value if on a budget. Breakfast was a bit limited in it offer.

The room was a little run down.. and no fridge..

Clean, lovely staff, great food and atmosphere. Convenient from the boats and to the train.. I asked for an extra pillow and some milk which was no trouble and the staff sorted thus out immediately.

The shower wasn't great in terms of its design and the room was a bit dated, but for one night, on a budget it was perfectly adequate for our needs (family of 4)

We stayed here one night as part of a plan to drive around the lake in two days. It was very reasonably priced and we could park for free in the train station just over the road which was great. The restaurant looked nice, though we didnt use it.
