We had a wonderful stay here and came home with truly great experiences! The hotel is very modern, comfortable, and pleasantly quiet, away from the noise of the city. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and the staff took care of the cleanliness every single day. From the balcony we had a beautiful view of the mountains and a direct view of the bell tower, which created a cozy and intimate atmosphere in the evenings while sitting outside. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming, making us feel almost like family. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from, and nothing was missing. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station, and nearby you can find a grocery store and a tobacconist. We can only recommend this place – thank you, Albergo Nicolin!

The staff are the highlight of my stay. They went beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We were in como for a wedding and needed transportation to and from the hotel. Not only did the staff arrange our transportation, they ensured we were treated fairly by the taxi drivers even at great expense to themselves. We heard the restaurant was the best in Como.. we didn't get a chance to try it out but witnessed many happy celebrations going on in the restaurant --- were even encouraged by some celebrants to join in!!! All in all, I would come again just because of the staff.

The blow dryer was awful and the shower was a bit small.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The blow dryer was terrible though. The staff, facilities, and location were all outstanding! Food at breakfast was unbelievably fresh and a great wait staff!

We had a great stay at this hotel in Lecco! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a balcony in our room, such a nice touch we didn’t expect. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast in the morning was also totally fine with enough options to start the day. The only small downside is the location. It’s a bit outside the city center. We had a car, so it wasn’t a problem at all, especially since there were convenient parking spots available right in front of the hotel. But if you’re traveling without a car, it might be a bit less convenient.

The entire hotel team was remarkably amiable. The room was very comfortable—the bed, bathroom, cleanliness—everything we needed was provided. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which would have been appreciated due to the hot weather, but it wasn't available during this season. Despite that, we managed to fall asleep. The breakfast was excellent, and we also had dinner at Nicolin Restaurant—an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended if you're in Lecco or the surrounding area.

The place was pleasant, clean, and comfortable, making for a nice stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Additionally, its location is convenient, just a 30-minute drive from Como, which is a great advantage for exploring the area.

it was a great stay. Beds were really comefortable breakfast was great fresh bread, good italian cheese great pastry if you like sweet for breakfast. for lunch and dinner i recommend restaurant in the hotel. it is pricy but worth it. how often do you stay in a hotel with Michelin star restaurant? we got to the hotel by train from Lecco . better train than bus in my opinion as faster.

Small things- there wasn't any towel hanger in one room. There was only rain shower head, no normal (handhead) one.

Rooms were clean (cleaning each day, even on sunday), breakfast very good as for Italy- ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, bread, sweet croissants, jam, honey, cake (at weekends there was more choice- also mini foccacias were prepared). Staff was kind and helpful, english-speaking. Quiet rooms, we didn't hear noises from a restaurant or from the other rooms. Safe, hairdryer and fridge in each. Near to Lecco Maggianico train station. Nice view for the mountains.
