The elevator was really small and tight. Not much the hotel can do about that and fortunately traveling with friends, we managed to navigate it just fine.

So the hotel has traditional hotel rooms and then what we would consider suites in the U.S. we booked a suite which came with a kitchen. For the money we spent, we got an AMAZING bargain. The room as spacious and comfortable. We stocked the refrigerator with snacks and drinks so we could kick back and relax in the evenings. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, opting instead to get coffee out and have it with fresh danish and yogurt we purchased the day before. It made for relaxed and quiet mornings. The street outside is busy into the early hours so we had to sleep with the windows closed at night. But we had some nice breezes to cool it off in the evening since it was too early for air conditioning The hotel is convenient to the historical district, the harbour and shopping. There are lots of restaurant options nearby and bodegas to pick up small things you might need. The room was not well stocked so we bought body wash, tissues and some other comforts we needed. If you plan to use the kitchen, I suggest getting a small dish soap and wash pad. Again, there are lots of nearby places to get those things as well as fresh ingredients if you want to prepare meals.

There was no tea or coffee maker in the room, although this was clear from the list of amenities. Still, I was a bit surprised that there wasn’t even a shared hot water dispenser on each floor or at least in the breakfast room. On a positive note, the receptionist was kind enough to provide me with a small kettle of hot water from the espresso machine. Also, the handwashing sink in the bathroom was severely clogged - this should be an easy fix and I hope this will be addressed soon.

The family room was spacious, and despite being very close to the shopping area, it was pleasantly quiet inside. The location was perfect — just steps from bus 101, which takes you to the central station or connects with other buses like the 806 to Mondello. The hotel offers a basic breakfast, which was good enough to start the day — and you'll definitely want to save some room for all the delicious treats the city has to offer!

The hotel room was absolutely fine – comfortable and clean. Perhaps a slight renovation wouldn’t hurt, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was very goof – surprisingly varied for a typical Italian breakfast. A particularly thoughtful touch was the takeaway breakfast prepared for me due to our early departure.

You can not reserve a parking spot at the hotel and the don't have other options. We tried to find a spot for 40 minute on the streets.

The hotel is not very refurbished, or maybe our room was less refurbished, but we chose our accommodation at the last minute as we were on a tour of Sicily. However the hotel is very very central and the location covered any inconveniences.

Very friendly staff and reception is permanently open. The hotel is centrally located, right next to Massimo Theater, on a quiet pedestrian street, which gives it a big plus.

It’s feels a bit old school, but did not affect my stay in any way.

The staff were very accommodating to my needs. They stored my 4 suitcases from 9am and even held my cassata in their fridge till the next day. Breakfast was a very nice spread and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was!
