How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I was completely satisfied with the accommodation. <3 The room was comfortable and clean, and I didn't notice any noise. The breakfast was tasty, however the selection was a bit limited. The area is great – walking streets, shops, restaurants, the train station, and the beach are all within walking distance. I traveled alone, and it was a fantastic experience. Rapallo also a great center to visit Portofino and Cinque Terre

The decor and overall vibe of the hotel was a bit outdated. However, they had everything you would need in a hotel.
The location is great, it puts you right at the beach. Everything was clean, and the staff was helpful and nice.

Claudio and the team at the hotel were really helpful and cordial. The location is perfect to visit the town. The rooms are humble but really clean. My favourite part was the delicious and abundant breakfast with the spending view of the city centre. Thanks Claudio!

Hot drink facility in the room would have been welcome.

Up on the 5th floor so be prepared to use the small elevator or take the stairs.
Great location, lots of natural light in the apartment, and the staff were great. The front desk was very helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. They also stored our luggage for us, which was very helpful. The area was walking distance from the train, ferry, and all the stores and restaurants in the area.

This is just a few rooms on the 5th floor of a building not a purpose built hotel. But it is absolutely fine.
Helpful friendly checkin, room a good size. Very good breakfast.

The aircondition did not function well. The staff shut the AC in the morning while cleaning the room. When you arrived in the afternoon the temperature was 35 degrees and did not be normal in the whole evening.
The lokation was exelent. The staff friendly. The breakfast was very good and the view from the breakfastroom was very beautiful and enjoyable.

Room was a single room. It was ok but the window turned towards a back yard so could not see the sky. Great breakfast and the hotel is located very central in Rapallo. Very sweet and helpful staff.

Furniture was a bit dated and dingy. The owner/receptionist was unfriendly at times.
The location was great. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable. The AC actually cooled the space. Bring your own beach towels or prepare to be ripped off buying them at the square.

The pictures of the outside are a little disingenuous. The building is nice but you never see that (except if you stand on across the road). The reception, entrance etc do not feel part of that building.
The room was what I would expect from this budget. It is well located and the owner/manager is really nice.The breakfast is pretty good. But set your expectations, it is a budget hotel and that is what you get.

The hotel itself is located on the fifth floor of a residential building. The building itself was very old and poorly maintained. There was no parking nearby, and we had to pay extra for parking overnight. Overall, the hotel is on part of one floor only and there is no reception area persay, it was just a desk. There were a lot of mosquitos with no mosquito repellent provided.
The location at the center of Rapallo. Nice reception staff and the breakfast was decent.
