The home feels with super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast always served with a smile. Outstanding view from the window. If I ever go back I will definitely stay there again.

Location is perfect! Had everything at the door step and best pizzeria in town with the best table reserved for me just downstairs.

I wish I’d known not to go to the waterfront with our heavy luggage on arrival. Google maps took us there and then we were told to climb very steep and cobbled stairs to the square. If coming by train or ferry take the high road to Santa Giorgio square. The hotel is in the square.

Breakfast was great and staff bent over backwards to please. Located central to shops and restaurants and as it was in the square, easy access to taxis.

The wifi was very very weak, so I struggled with working from my laptop. And the shower was a little awkward and with no shower curtain, the water went everywhere.

It was a very nice location, easily reachable from the ferry and train station. Bed was comfy, room was cute, and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and I really loved the eggs they would make you!

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was unpleasant due to the staff’s attitude and communication. We arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time and politely asked if it was possible to check in early, provided the room was ready. We were told that the room wasn’t prepared yet – which we fully understood, so we decided to wait. However, when we returned later, we saw that two other guests were checked in before us, while we were still told to wait. When I asked why others were being checked in ahead of us, I explained that we had scheduled plans – ferry tickets and a visit to Villa Balbianello – and could not afford to be late. The staff member simply replied that it was “not his problem,” as he was working alone in both the reception and the restaurant. He also said that the person responsible for check-ins would only start working at 2 PM. When that employee finally arrived, I said that this was not an acceptable way to treat guests and that I would be writing a review on Booking. His response was, “Write whatever you want.” It’s very disappointing, because just based on this kind of attitude and treatment, we would not choose this hotel again in the future.

Nice location in a piazza just a short, beautiful walk from the station. Clean, comfortable room with great a/c, which is so important when the temps are this high. Friendly, welcoming staff and great breakfast and restaurant on site for dinner!

The staff at this hotel were amazing and accommodated us in so many ways. Garatano was always available to answer questions and arranged for a taxi for us on our last day to get to the train station. His colleagues were equally helpful and considerate to us. Francesco prepared amazing breakfasts and helped check on the taxi that was a few minutes late. The location of this hotel is great. It is in a central piazza and is only a 5-minute walk away from Villa Monastero. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
