Mom and I stayed for only one night, but we were able to check-in late, and that was really important to us. The room, the bathroom, everything was really clean and the lady that runs the accommodation really thought of everything, from enough clean towels, to shower caps and extensions for chargers, usb cable, etc. The location was also ideal for us, close to the central train station, and well connected to the central part of Palermo at the same time. We loved the building the apartments are located in, the old elevator is just beautiful, we enjoyed riding it.

Perfect place to visit Palermo! Comfortable and clean, in a very convenient location. Excellent hospitality! We found it very useful to have private parking right at the gate next to the hotel.

They don't give you the key when you leave the place. and when I came back I noticed that someone was in the room when I wasn't there. It wasn't a very nice feeling.

We didn’t notice any signage on arrival telling us which floor the hotel was on.

We arrived after 11pm - check in was easy and we were able to buy water from the proprietor. We checked out early and that was fine too. Very clean room.

Only one suggestion - a small fridge in the room would be great.

Everything was good. The room was very very clean, location also was very comfortable to reach all activities in the city center.

Excellent location two minutes from train & bus stations. Breakfast delivered to room is plentiful and scrumptious. Building doesn't look great from outside but room is spacious and spotless inside. Old type lift adds a bit of character to the premises, would certainly recommend staying here. For access press small button beside name and wait on door to click.

There was nothing that I did not like. I would stay there again.

I thought the hotel had character, a little quirky. It was from another era but also had modern facilities. It reminded me of some Italian albergos I stayed in 40 years ago. The lady in charge was very kind and pleasant. I loved the view from my window. The location was excellent for the trains and buses. Close to many sites.

Absolutely everything. Close to the train and bus station. The breakfast is tasty and served in the room. Try ricotta croissant!! Every small detail is managed carefully by Maria!! I even left my luggage for 24 hours to go baggage free to Catania. It is by far better than numerous 3 star hotels.

This hotel is way better than most of the 3 star hotel i tried. Room is extra spacious, confortable, with scenic views on the beach and on the mountain. Every small detail is well managed and organised. Location 5 minutes away from bus terminal and train station. The manager Maria is extremely helpful and responds positively on all the requests. I highly recommend Albergo Cavour!! Best hotel in town !!

Very comfortable bed in a big room. Friendly staff. It’s on the 5th floor and one evening someone had left the door elevator door open on the 3rd floor, which meant having to walk up and get it. The area is a little sketchy. It’s very close to the train station, which is good. The hot water lasted a short time. It was fine for a basic shower, but no lingering! Breakfast was €5 and delivered to the room. That felt very swanky!

The street was a little dingy.

Clean comfortable room. Good bathroom facilities. Really close to station and major tourist sights. Excellent croissants for breakfast. Like really good. Staff friendly.
