Everything was absolutely perfect, except that there could have been a larger selection of savory items and some fruit or vegetables for breakfast.

Beautiful hotel right in the center of San Leo. It is an ideal place for visiting San Marino as well as visiting San Leo itself. Very cozy accommodation, friendly staff, beautiful views of the countryside and the castle, several restaurants in the vicinity. We were accommodated with our 3 children in a family room on the upper floor and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view.

Arrived for cycling trip with friends followed by sightseeing with wife. Francesca was incredibly helpful in advance and throughout our stay, making everyone's holiday really enjoyable. The property is beautiful and location superb. We arrived late and Francesca had kindly arranged food that was perfect and made out stay a pleasure from start to finish. Have great memories of this great hotel.

It`s almost impossible to find a mistake here (you may have understood if you read above what I liked). By the way, just a hint: if you are staying in a room faced on the main square, you may hear noise until late in the evening (I guess this may be valid only during the nice season). There is only one bar open until late (after midnight) in this small village and the few locals are gathering there. There is also a football table to enjoy and this may add some noise. Somebody may be disappointed by this, others may like it and fully enjoy such italian night folklore (why not to join them, have a drink and play ? :-) And to be honest, for me it was enough to close the windows and almost all the noise was gone (although it was a really hot week and would have left the windows open otherwise).

View from the windows (we were at the second floor in the building on the main square, where the reception is located) - we had a beautiful view of the square as well as of the fortress and landscape around the village). For sure also the other rooms of this building have great views (depending on the side where the room is, it may be faced towards the fortress and village main square or towards the Marecchia valley. The rooms and bathroom were cleaned every day. The whole building is very clean and tidy, including the bar and restaurant at the ground floor. The hotel also offers discounts for meals at the restaurant at the ground floor and at the "Osteria la corte di Berengario II" which we enjoyed a lot. In the Osteria we had dinners and the food was amazing (as well as the personal/cook/owner and the place itself! At the restaurant at the ground floor of the hotel we had the breakfast everyday (which is included in the price): this was also amazing (to mention the local ham, the local cheese - formaggio di fossa - and the fresh cakes were the unforgettable start of our days), and if you get a table close to the bottom of the restaurant you can enjoy also the sight of the valley. And not least, Marco, who is running the hotel, was always available whenever necessary and can give you precious hints on interesting places to visit (villages, nature, archeological sites) and where to eat around the Marecchia valley. Overall: the hotel is run very well and located in a beautiful village and the landscapes, gastronomy and cultural sites of the whole region are amazing.

It is not just complain :-) - the room didn't not have air conditioning, but the mountain wind makes up for it perfectly.

Pleasant place, everything is fine, the hotel provides a parking card for free parking wifi without problems, the atmosphere of a medieval town is present everywhere, a great experience.

The hotel doesn't have an AC. They provide you a fan. It is not hot in the night when you open the window. But attention, there is a church close to hotel. And the church bell rings evey half hour, even in the night. We are not able to sleep.

The hotel is located in a small village. We like the atmosphere.

When we checked in, there was nobody at the front desk. We had to ask the barista for information and then call the people to figure out how to get into our room. We speak Italian so it wasn’t a big issue but if you did not know the language, it would’ve been very complicated. It was my misunderstanding that there was no air conditioning. It was very warm and there was no air circulation. If you cannot stay without air-conditioning do not pick this hotel. Otherwise everything was amazing g and the location was unbeatable.

Breakfast was not at the hotel but down the street in a little front room. It would have been nice if we were told that in advance instead of when we came downstairs expecting breakfast. The people who worked on the second day didn't speak English and we had a hard time communicating. The parking lot was a few minutes' walk away. Air conditioner was not working or turned off.
