Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesIt's hard to get an Uber or taxi from the property, but if you travel by train or bus, the property is just beside the train station, and the bus stop is just across the property.
Franco, the owner and his family, really took care of all of us. He even went out of his way to bring us to our conference venue, a 17-minute drive to Centrale Gabdolfo.

United KingdomPlease be aware that the trains between Rome/Pavona are on average 1 per hour and the service ends relatively early (after 9pm I believe is the last direct train from Rome)
The owner and staff are fantastic - they work across the road from the property at a cafe/bar where you will have a free breakfast each morning (very tasty, no complaints). The property itself is cheap and cheerful, it does the job after spending the day in Rome. The bed was not the best for me but I am a pretty heavy guy so I need quite firm mattresses. Overall good value for money considering other options for Rome

FinlandThe place is a bit far from the Rome. It would take around 30 mins. However, you also have the chance to see and to enjoy the view of the beautiful nature and the farms outside the city of Rome which each have different vibes. But what is great is that the Albano B&B is very near from the train station around 2 to 3 mins only. It is literally beside the train station.
The place was neat and clean and someone is cleaning the room every after 2 days (on the 3rd day). The location is easy to find. There is also strong wifi connection. The room and the bathroom are quite modern with good ligthing. It is also worth mentioning that the staffs are warmth and they are welcoming. They are helping, easy to approach, always smiling and accommodating. Specially Mr. Franco, he welcomed us and he is so kind. Moreover, breakfast is included so no more hustle looking for a place to eat before you start exploring Rome and their resto is just across the B&B where you are staying. This place is already a good deal actually and if ever we are visitong Itally again, we would still love to stay here. 😃

SerbiaThe studio apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was equipped with towels, toilet soap, shower equipment, hairdryer, shower... The apartments are 3 minutes from the train that goes to the Termini station in Rome and to the Ciampino station, from where you can quickly get to airport Ciampino. Staff pleasant! Delicious croissants! Clear 10!!!

GermanyWell, I have to mention that it can be risky to book a place that is so far away from Rome when you want to visit Rome everyday. I would say there are enough trains, you just have to know the timetable and plan accordingly. That's why we thought it would be okay for us. Unfortunately when we were there there was some maintenance on our line and so there were fewer trains which was especially sad in the evening because we had to go back at 7:20PM already and there was only one last train very late and very risky to take a last train because the taxi is so expensive. Also one of our vacation days was a Sunday and the early train was canceled so we had to walk 2 kilometers basically on the side of the street without a sidewalk to the next town to catch the next train there. It was an adventure I can't recommend. Especially when you have a lot of walking still to do in Roma... But that is of course not the fault of Albano Station Rooms. I just wanted to tell our experience in case it could be helpful to someone.
The host was very very kind. We arrived very late and unfortunately our taxi dropped us off at the wrong address. Just up the street there is the same street name and house number but it belongs to the next town. We were very confused but figured it out. The host doesn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian so he couldn't help us but he waited for us und welcomed us warmly. Our room was superb, clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was sufficient and what you would expect in Italy I guess. Unfortunately you can rarely find anything vegetarian other than sweets. But they have great espressos and you can buy water bottles (and other stuff) in the shop. The location is alright. There are cafes and restaurants close by and a fruit market which we were grateful for.

This hotel and this city were the most comfortable place for us to stay. The hotel is clean, cozy. The location is great. A little further there is a beautiful lake where you can swim. If someone asks me what I liked in Rome, then I will answer Pavona. I thank the wonderful family (the owners) for the comfort and excellent service. Special thanks to Alex. You are the best.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, even though no English spoken. Probably worth mentioning that you pick up the key from the cafe bar opposite (apologies if it says that somewhere). United StatesWe had a room at the very end of the hall, far away from the router so the wifi wasn't great. It was not really a problem though, and the wifi is probably good in every other room. The location is a little confusing, as there is no clear sign for where the door is, but we found it very quickly.
The woman that runs the place is incredibly kind and helpful. The food and service were fantastic and the rooms were comfortable. On our last day, she woke up at 4 AM to give us breakfast and send us off as we caught an early flight.

NetherlandsWe don’t really care for strong perfumes in the room hence we would request those to be removed in advance for our next stay.
Very friendly owner and staff. Best beds we have encountered in our days in Italy. Very tasty breakfast included across the street in the owners restaurant. Easy parking and close to a lake with very good restaurants and swimming facilities.
