Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaThe accommodation is located in a very peaceful and quiet location. The building is located in a closed courtyard off the road, which provides perfect security. There is a large closed parking lot, a beautifully landscaped courtyard with a lawn. The room was pleasant, clean and large, the bathroom is spacious. The breakfast met our expectations. The staff was very kind and helpful to us. Everything was pleasant. Maximum suitable for relaxation.

United KingdomUnfortunately, due to the city holiday that week the Michelin restaurant and local bar was closed so not much in Godia. But not the fault of our hosts.
Sara was so friendly and accommodating. Accommodation was clean and perfect for our needs with a small balcony and garden. Breakfast was excellent and make sure you ask about the Birra Morretti picture on the wall. Great story. Bus stop just outside with a 10min journey into Udine city centre.

United KingdomN/a we liked everything and have been staying there 3 years on the run.
Very quiet village location a short distance from Udine centre. Good half hourly bus service to centre and railway station. Rooms are spacious, quiet, very clean and good shower room. Very secure and spacious parking for cars. The lady owner/manager was very helpful and speaks good English. This B&B is well suited as a base for exploring the area and visiting Venice, Trieste, Pordenone, Cividale etc. We found the excellent train service to those locations a cost effective and relaxing alternative to using our hired car.Trains are far cheaper than in the UK and the tickets cost the same whether you book on the day or weeks in advance.

AustriaThe bells of the nearby church chimed at 7 in the morning. The windows of the hotel are very well isolated and the chime is pleasant but it can still wake you up. Sara said that she spoke with the church but they are not willing to stop the chiming. Still, this is only a minor nuisance which should not deter anybody from staying in the hotel which is really great.
Al Sa di Te is located in a quiet suburb of Udine, about 15 minutes by car to the city center. The hotel is located in a closed compound with secure private parking. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable, everything is very well thought of and done with style. The bathroom is very spacious and well-appointed. Sara and her father are very helpful and hospitable and helped us a lot with information about Udine. Sara also takes care of the breakfast which is perfectly adequate (great espresso!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay there very much and would highly recommend the hotel!

EstoniaNothing.
If I could give the host 20 stars, I would readily do that. The place itself was perfect, but it wouldn't be as complete without Sara taking genuine care of everything and everyone, creating a truly home-like experience. The hotel felt like a secure small castle overall, both externally and internally, with a lot of love and thought put into it. The room was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was just right, and the quiet location helped us to recharge our batteries in no time. Two thumbs up!

United KingdomHaving stayed there for 3 nights in 2023, we made it a week this time and enjoyed all of it.
Location: in Godia, a little village a couple of miles from the centre of Udine. Very quiet, spacious and comfortable rooms with good sized en-suite shower rooms. Nice continental breakfast with excellent coffee. Sara also makes some very good cakes. There is copious, secure parking. Regular half hourly bus service to Udine and Udine railway station (we used the trains to go to Venice and some other locations - despite having a hire car). Sara - the host - speaks good English and has always been very friendly and helpful (time-tables, bus tickets etc). If going into Udine by car, we would recommend the underground carpark at Piazza 1 Maggio - very modern, good sized spaces and only costs 90cents per hour! We can also recommend a restaurant - Le Tre Sorrelle - about 5 minutes by car. There is copious free parking on the opposite side of the road at a small shopping centre.

United KingdomAll good
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The tranquil atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cleanliness of the accommodations was impeccable, and it was evident that the owner takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment. Speaking of the owner, her kindness and hospitality truly stood out during my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even accommodating an early breakfast for me on my last day so I could make it to the airport on time. Her thoughtfulness and willingness to cater to her guests' needs were truly appreciated. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with exceptional hospitality. I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the wonderful experience.
